We are excited that you're interested in gardening at St David's Foundation Community Garden! We have a waiting list and the typical time it takes for people to be assigned a plot can be a year or more. It's important to understand our garden policies and requirements before signing up to be on the waiting list. Before filling out the form below:
Review the Garden Calendar and join volunteer events and meetings - Waiting list members who volunteer will be moved up the waiting list more quickly than others!
You can also get familiar with our garden activities and discussions by reviewing the News and Updates.
After filling out the form, you'll be on our waiting list and be able to track your position on the list by logging in to the garden dashboard. This will also be where you'll log in to manage your plot membership after you've joined.
There's still more you can do at our garden while you're waiting:
Volunteer with the Common Area Plots. We have several pollinator plots and common area gardens that are coordinated by volunteer leaders. You can volunteer to help in these plots.
Bring your Compost! We have a large compost pile and you're welcome to contribute -- we just ask that you only drop off these categories of items:
Brown paper bags
Household fruit and vegetable scraps (please remove any stickers before hand)
Coffee grounds and tea
Raked leaves from the yard
Read about our Background info. You can read about the garden's history and learn more on our website
Volunteering. We have an ongoing need for maintenance and garden management (weeding, turning compost, etc). Watching the Google Group and our calendar for announcements is the best way to get involved with that work.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
