In her latest book, Canyon Survival: Escape Out of the Flames, Jean Moule writes a fictional narrative based on her story of the September 8, 2020 fire storm that devastated the North Santiam Canyon in Oregon. Geared toward younger readers, this story reflects her own journey to evacuate and includes accounts that she gathered from friends.
Both Canyon Survival and Seeking Warmth and Light, a collection of columns of reflections on actual events, are designed to help folks interact with each other and specifically focus on how to interact with children and grandchildren around difficult topics.
