Summer Reading Grant
Thank you to the Oregon Cultural Trust and the Linn County Cultural Coalition for awarding the Friends of the Scio Public Library a grant to support the summer reading program this year! We are excited for this opportunity that brings the gift of reading to our children!
We invite you to learn about what we do and to join us in supporting the Scio Public Library
The primary goals of the FRIENDS are to:
Support projects for community use where other funds are not available
Support the mission of the Scio Public Library and the priorities as described in the library's goals and objectives
Provide support to initiate programs with long term impact
Serve as a goodwill ambassador for the library

We meet monthly, on the first Monday of each month in Scio City Hall, adjacent to the library. Friends' meetings are open to everyone.
