History

This event has been created in 1997 by the French Embassy in Japan and the CNRS. It was previously entitled "Scientific and Technical Days" or "French Scientific Days".

Since 2007, the French National Day (J·FR) hosts every year more than 100 people: students (master, engineers, or PhD), junior researchers (post-doc, etc.), senior researchers (professors, researchers) or corporate representatives.

All of them are invited to present their research work in general presentations or posters, along with some invited speakers.

Former events websites can be visited as follows: JSF 2006, JFR ’07, JFR ’08, JFR ’09, JFR ’10, JFR ’11, JFR ’12, JFR ’13, JFR'14, JFR'15, JFR'16, JFR'17.
