A note from our treasurers: 

Hello everyone! We hope summer is treating you well. We are Jaron Lai and Jason You, the treasurers for Science Olympiad at Albany Middle School. Our Science Olympiad season is just around the corner, but we need your help! Science Olympiad is a school club meaning we heavily rely on your donations to keep the club going. This year, we ask for a donation of $550. While this is an increase from last year, the additional funds will allow us to provide your student with:   

Resources: A large reason for your increase is to better support your child’s learning. The additional funds will allow us to bring in external support and better equipment, so that every student has what they need to thrive. 

Registration: Your donations will also allow us to participate in invitationals, and to attend these invitationals, we need to pay a registration fee for each participating team. In just one year, we  spend over 10,000 dollars! 

Sweatshirts: Every year your donations have allowed us to provide sweatshirts to everyone as to show team-spirit at our competitions! These sweatshirts are designed by our students and are always a big hit! However, your support is crucial for us to ensure that we will be able to do this again this year. However, we understand that this is a generous ask and we’d like to emphasize that any amount that you’re comfortable donating is sincerely appreciated. Donations can be made through myschoolbucks.com, or when school starts, the main office at AMS through check. If donating using a check, address it to Albany Middle School, with Science Olympiad, and your child’s name on the memo line. Even though the school year hasn’t officially started yet, we're excited to get a strong head start. With your support, we’re confident this will be our best season yet! Thank you!

Parents should donate all checks to AMS or pay through MySchoolBucks.
