(more details coming soon - summer 2020)

Timberline Lodge Star Parties

Join us in the lower Salmon parking lot at historic Timberline Lodge the evenings of June 29 and August 3, 2019 for a brief introduction to our cosmic context (beginning at 8:30 pm) followed by views of the universe through telescopes provided by local amateur astronomers. A number of astronomy experts will be there to help guide you around the night sky and answer your questions (and hopefully spark many new ones :-) Good views of Saturn and its incredible rings will be a beautiful feature at both star parties. Attendance is free and will be catered by Timberline Lodge. They'll have coffee and hot chocolate for sale along with a limited selection of food.

The Value of a Cosmic Perspective TEDx Talk

Todd's May 2017 presentation summarizing the perspective behind the Science Integration Institute.

Science on Screen: The Physics of Time Travel / Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure

An introduction to what our current understanding of physics says about the possibilities of real time travel, followed by a showing of the movie "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" and time for questions at the end. More info is at http://hollywoodtheatre.org/bill-teds-excellent-adventure/

Connecting to Your Cosmic Context

How would the world change if we all spent a little more time looking at life from a very big picture, cosmic perspective, and talking with each other from that frame of mind? Join us at our next cosmic conversation and find out...

Glimpses of Wonder

Todd's most recent book is available if you need a reminder of your connection to a big picture, cosmic perspective but can't make it to one of our programs in person :o)

Journey of the Universe

The Center for Earth Leadership held a showing of the 55-minute PBS Film "Journey of the Universe" on March 16. Todd helped lead a discussion after the film about the implications of its story, our cosmic story, for our everyday lives. Let us know if you'd like to arrange a similar discussion for your group or organization.

Our Cosmic History Lecture Series

Information and resources from this 2009 and 2010 lecture series.
