On page LXXX of the Report on Canadian Archives 1904 (page 92 in the pdf file) starts the "Copy of the Register of the Parish of Montreal, commencing the 5th October 1766, ending the 5th September, 1787, by the then Rev. Mr. D. C. Delisle." These are the early records for what is now Montreal's Christ Church Cathedral.
Since the pdf file is huge to download, here is the section from the year 1784 with the marriage of Caroline and William (see May):
I had hoped to find our ancestor Charles in the Baptism section, but he was not there.
(Note: Hannah is not a direct ancestor.)
A Charles Schneider and Marie Kingsbery baptized a girl in the Catholic Church. If the record is right, the girl would be Hannah who married Richard Story Robins, the steamboat captain. It is interesting that the protestant Schneiders would use a Catholic church. Maybe it had something to do with the war of 1812.
