The SDHS PTSA is actively recruiting members to step into leadership roles for the 2025/2026 executive board. 

We invite all stakeholders to consider joining the executive board for the next school year.  Executive board meetings must meet a quorum of six (6) to conduct any business on behalf of the PTSA.  

We are happy to announce that along with the Treasurer and the Executive VP, Kelli O'Bryan will continue her role as VP on the PTSA and has committed to being the Class of 2026 advisor.  This means that it is essential to fill at least three (3) seats on the next board. 

Board positions are open to staff, students, parents and community members.  To ensure the new board is properly elected before the end of school year we ask that anyone interested in joining the PTSA in general and/or in taking an executive role attends the next general association meeting on March 12, 2025 at 6pm.

Required Open Roles:  President and Secretary.  Other Open Roles: Auditor, Historian, Parliamentarian, VP Communications. While these roles have some specific duties it is of the utmost importance that we fill three seats on the board to ensure that the PTSA can continue to conduct business allowing the Class of 2026 to enjoy the traditional activities associated with the end of their high school experience. 

Please note that Executive Board members must be active members of the PTSA for at least 30 days before being elected.
