Oakley Road Affordable Housing Project

As you may have read in the Community Bulletin, Kingdom Housing Association are holding an information day for the Oakley Road affordable housing project this Friday, 26 September from 3.00pm in Saline Community Centre. Drawings of the scheme will be on display.

At 6:30pm David Chisholm will be facilitating an Open Forum at which KHA will explain their proposals and people will be able to make comments and ask questions. The provision of affordable housing is a high priority in the Community Action Plan.

Alan Henderson from KHA will be attending the Community Council meeting on the 30th and it is important that Community Councillors are well-informed about wider opinion and able to make a coherent and constructive response to KHA's proposals. This will be the last opportunity before the detailed planning application is submitted.
