Research Group Name: Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery (DMKD)
Objectives: Our research interest is on mining large-scale information and discover new knowledge from social networks, graph data, trajectory data, Gene data etc. The main goal of our research is data mining, database systems, machine learning, information retrieval, and network science, with a focus on designing novel problems and proposing scalable algorithms for different real-world applications, including but not limited to: social computing, social media analysis, recommendation, medical and health informatics, and Big Data analysis.
