Prerequisites : Students need to know at least one or more programming languages: C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, and/or Javascript to complete and final project.

Course Objectives: Data Mining and Warehousing course introduces: the concepts of data mining, different kinds of data mining techniques including (a) data reprocessing, integration and transformation, (b) mining frequent patterns, (c) various topics of clustering, (d) several clustering techniques, (e) design and implementation of data warehousing and OLAP systems. The course will serve both senior-level B.Sc computer science undergraduate students and the first-year M.Sc students interested in the field. Also, the course may help students from other disciplines who are interested to understand, develop, and use data warehouse and data mining systems to analyze large amounts of data.
