Pastoral Council

A consultative body who advises the pastor on the ways to build Christian community and meet the pastoral needs of the parish.

Finance Council

An advisory body responsible for providing consultation and assistance to the Pastor in the financial administration of the parish in accordance with diocesan regulations and policies.

Liturgical Ministries

Children's Liturgy

Volunteers plan and assist with the liturgies during the 9:00 a.m. mass.

Environmental and Altar Linen Care

Volunteers maintain the liturgically correct environment throughout the year.

Eucharistic Ministers

Ministers receive training and assist at Mass. These volunteers sometimes bring communion to those who cannot attend Mass.

Lectors

Lectors are scheduled to proclaim liturgical readings once every 4-6 weeks at a weekend mass of their choice.

Liturgy Committee

Members plan and organize the liturgical celebrations in our parish.

Music Ministry

Choir members and those with instrumental abilities are invited for weekend Masses. Arrangements for special occasions can be provided upon request.

Ushers

Volunteers who exercise hospitality, collect offerings and distribute bulletins. Ushers also greet at the doors of the Church

Educational Ministries

Baptismal Preparation

Baptisms are celebrated the last Sunday of the month except for Advent and Lent. To arrange for a Baptism please contact the Church office 613 828 6720. 

Marriage

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

A program for adults preparing for Baptism, full Communion in the Catholic Church, or who wish to learn more about the Catholic faith.

Sacramental Preparation for School-Age Children

A team of volunteers from the parish who organize celebrations for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation for children.

Outreach Ministries

Bereavement Team

A support group to those suffering a loss. They assist with funeral arrangements and funeral liturgies.

Cancer Support Group

A support group for cancer patients in our parish.

Catholic Women's League of Canada (C.W.L.)

The Catholic Women's League of Canada calls its members to grow in faith and to witness the love of God through ministry and service.

Bazaar

Volunteers who plan fundraising events in support of church maintenance and parish future growth.

Volunteers visit hospitals, Senior Citizen homes and shut-ins to care for our people with all needs - spiritual, emotional and physical.
