Workshop on Robotics in Virtual Reality (RVR) welcomes contributions that explore the intersection of robotics and virtual reality, including but not limited to the following diverse areas:
Robotics in virtual reality games and applications
Virtual robots
Video games with robots
Novel uses of robots in virtual reality
Assistive technologies that merge virtual reality and robotics
Immersive virtual environments using robotics
Remote controlled virtual robotic systems
Novel virtual reality interaction techniques using robotic devices
Augmented reality/Mixed reality and robotics
User studies and evaluations
Inclusive design
Reviews/surveys of virtual reality and robotics
New trends of virtual reality and robotics applications
Telepresence and virtual robots
We welcome submissions of 2-6 pages in the double column IEEE ICRA format, which is available at http://icra2018.org/submission-instructions/ The submission can be in one of the following categories: research papers with preliminary results, novel concepts, case studies, user studies, survey papers, works in progress or position papers that propose new directions. Submissions will be judged on novelty, scientific contribution, clarity, and relevance.
Authors of accepted papers are expected to give a 10-minute presentation at the half-day workshop, which will be followed by a 10-minute question & answer session. All submissions must be original and not previously or simultaneously submitted to another venue.

Selected publications will be published in a book chapter by River Publishers that will be indexed in abstracting & indexing databases such as the Web of Science Book Citation Index.
