Assessment Exam

This exam is offered by the studio. 

Things to know about the exam:

1. This exam is given anytime throughout the year - As long as I can get at least 6 students ready to take the exam.

2. We will have judges to come in and listen to the performance portion of the exam.

3. This exam contains 2 parts: Performance & Theory. Everyone must pass both the Performance and the Theory part to pass the level.

4. The scoring system for the exam is as follows:

 - Passing: Scores 70% or higher in average of the Performance & Theory score

 - Honor Roll: Scores 80% or higher in average of the Performance & Theory score

 - Principal Honor Roll: Scores 90% or higher in average of the Performance & Theory score

5. Awards: 

 - Blue Ribbon: Honor Roll

 - Red Ribbon: Principal Honor Roll

 - Bronze Medal: Highest score in one of the category: Performance, Theory, or Average

 - Silver Medal: Highest score in two of the categories: Performance, Theory, or Average

 - Gold Medal: Highest score in all three categories: Performance, Theory, AND Average
