Lessons

We run sessions during school term time only.  

We close over the school Christmas and Summer holidays, and one weekend around school half-terms as most people seem to be otherwise occupied at those times!  This includes our volunteer teachers. Full details of when we are running sessions are on our Calendar (see our Home page).

Children must be a minimum of reception school age (4-5) to start lessons.  

To join, the process is very easy - simply e-mail rsc.learntoswim@gmail.com, and we'll set you up with a free trial for lessons.

Lessons are from 8-10 am on Saturday mornings.

• Stages 1-5: 30 minute lessons (starting at 0800, 0830, 0900, 0930)

• Stages 6&7: 40 minute lessons (starting at 0800, 0840, 0920)

• Stages 8-10: 1h lessons (starting at 0800 and 0900)

Membership & Lesson Fees

To swim with us, you must be a member.  We are a Registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), which is similar to a Charity so that our fees contain an element of voluntary donations on which we can claim back tax from HMRC. If you have any difficulty in paying our fees, then please talk to us.

Fees are paid monthly and continue throughout the year to spread the cost and for ease of managing them (i.e. even over Summer).

• 1 child in lessons: £22/month

• 2 children in lessons: £38/month (in total, not per child!)

• 3 children in lessons: £54/month

• 4 children in lessons: £70

If any one child in your family is a member, the whole family can come to the Sunday Social Swimming session 8-10 on Sundays (any week we're teaching on the preceding Saturday).
