Master’s Thesis Title: Poly(vinylidene fluoride) – Single walled carbon nanotubes composites processing and characterization.

Main Objectives:
To prepared SWNTs and PVDF polymer composite blends with different weight percentage of purified and functionalized SWNTs using solution mixing method, where SWNTs were dispersed by ultrasonic mixing, mechanical stirring and high shear mixing into PVDF.
To prepare the samples by injection molding method.
To study the dispersion of SWNTs and to access the effect of SWNT on the crystallinity, mechanical properties, thermal stability, and electrical and dielectric properties of the composites.
