Dr. Rubaiyet Iftekharul Haque
Dr. Rubaiyet Iftekharul Haque is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Physics (DMP) of the North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
He, from February 2020 to March 2022, worked as a senior post-doctoral scientist in the 'Department of Mechanical Engineering' of the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He was a Marie Curie fellow, and his research was focused on the design and development of ice lithography system, a micro- & nano-scale additive manufacturing tool, sensor and actuator, and neural probe for brain stimulation.
From 2016 to 2019, he worked in the 'Institutes of Microengineering and Electrical Engineering' of the of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Microcity, Neuchâtel, Switzerland as a post-doctoral scientist. His research was focused on sensors, actuators, energy harvesting, self-powered energy autonomous electronics, flexible and printed electronics, 3D additive manufacturing.
He completed Ph.D. in microelectronics from the Flexible Electronics Department at the Centre Microélectronique de Provence (CMP) - Georges Charpak of the École nationale supérieure des Mines de Saint-Étienne (ENSM-SE)" France on 20th October, 2015. He was the recipient of a CIFRE doctoral fellowship and under its framework, he worked in TAGSYS RFID, a French company. His Ph.D. research was dedicated to the fields of printed electronics, and acoustic sensor design and development.
He graduated in Physics from the University of Chittagong (CU, Bangladesh), and carried out master degree in “Joint European Masters in Materials Science (EMMS)” jointly offered by The University of Aveiro (UA, Portugal), Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH, Germany), and Aalborg University (AAU, Denmark). His Master’s thesis, was focused on the poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) - carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) composites.
