About
I earned my Ph.D. at the University of Kentucky under the supervision of Benjamin Braun. During this time, I spent the 2013-2014 academic year at Aalto University in Espoo, Finland as part of Alexander Engström's research group. Afterwards, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Michigan State University, mentored by Bruce Sagan, and then I was a VAP at Harvey Mudd College, mentored by Mohamed Omar, before joining Colgate in 2019.

My research and teaching been partially funded by various grants/awards throughout the years. Highlights include:
2019 - 2022: NSF Grant DMS-1922998. Collaborative Grant with Tianran Chen. Award title: AMPS: Collaborative Research: A convex geometry and homotopy approach for power-flow equations
2017: MSU Departmental Postdoctoral Prize for Excellence in Teaching
2013 - 2014: Fulbright U.S. Student Award
