    • Kuheli Pratihar received the Best Poster Award in International Conference on Security, Privacy, and Applied Cryptography Engineering 2022 (SPACE'2022).

    • Akashdeep Saha received the Best Poster Award in International Conference on Security, Privacy, and Applied Cryptography Engineering 2021 (SPACE'2021).

    • Rijoy Mukherjee received the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (2020).

    • Urbi Chatterjee won the 2nd Prize in the Asian Test Symposium (ATS) 2019 Best Doctoral Thesis competition, part of IEEE TTTC E. J. McCluskey Doctoral Thesis competition (December 2019).

    • Pranesh Santikellur became Intel Student Ambassador (October 2019).

    • Urbi Chatterjee won the 1st prize and Pallabi Ghosh won the 3rd prize in the "Applied Research Competition" as part of the Cyber Security Awareness Week 2017 (CSAW'17), jointly organized by New York University and IIT Kanpur, at IIT Kanpur.

  • SEAL team members Urbi Chatterjee, Rajat Sadhukhan, Vidya Govindan and Pranesh Santikellur won the 2nd prize in the "Embedded Security Challenge" as part of the Cyber Security Awareness Week 2017 (CSAW'17), jointly organized by New York University and IIT Kanpur, at IIT Kanpur.

    • Urbi Chatterjee won the Best Poster Award in the "Workshop for Women in Hardware and Systems Security (WISE)", part of IEEE International Symposium on Hardware Oriented Security and Trust (HOST), held at Mclean, Virginia, U.S.A., 2017.

    • SEAL team members Urbi Chatterjee, Rajat Sadhukhan, Vidya Govindan and Paritosh Goyal won joint 1st Prize in "Grand Challenge: Smart Embedded Applications and IoT" at IIT Patna, including Rs. 40,000 cash award.

    • SEAL members Sikhar Patranabis (1st prize), Urbi Chatterjee (2nd prize) and Debapriya Basu Roy (3rd prize) swept all three awards in the "Applied Research Competition" as part of the Cyber Security Awareness Week 2016 (CSAW'16), jointly organized by New York University and IIT Kanpur, at IIT Kanpur.

    • SEAL team members Mannar Alam, Vidya Govindan, Debapriya Basu Roy and Sarani Bhattacharya won the 2nd prize in the "Embedded Security Challenge" as part of the Cyber Security Awareness Week 2016 (CSAW'16), jointly organized by New York University and IIT Kanpur, at IIT Kanpur.

    • Aniket Roy won the "Best Paper Award" at the 15th International Workshop on Digital-forensics and Watermarking (IWDW) 2016, for his paper titled "Optimal Distortion Estimation For Prediction Error Expansion Based Reversible Watermarking".

  • Anju Johnson won the "Best Presenter Award (among women scientists)" at the Ph.D. forum of the 29th International Conference on VLSI Design (VLSID) 2016.

  • Ayan Palchaudhuri won the "Best Poster Award" in the Student Research Symposium, as part of the IEEE International Conference on High Performance Computing (HiPC) 2014.

  • Ruchira Naskar received the 1st Prize in the "1st IDRBT Doctoral Colloquium", conducted by Institute for Development & Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) 2011.
