Please explore the information below to learn more about a few of our reoccurring social events. The Desert Doves are committed to fostering a sense of community here in Tucson. Our community events are open to all: community members, RPCVs, Coverdell Fellows, students, partners, friends, family, (anyone!). All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Desert Doves Events

GENERAL MEMBER MEETING

Saturday, May 16th from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM Member meeting and graduation celebration at Susan and Tom's place (1616 East Calle Altivo, Tucson, AZ 85718). This meeting will be a potluck, so please bring a dish to share.

DOVES DINE

Time and location TBD.

FIRST FRIDAYS HAPPY HOUR

1st Friday of every month at 6:00 PM. The next happy hour is at Zerai's on 5/1.

INTERNATIONAL MOVIE NIGHT

International movie night is monthly. The latest showing was on 10/25. Events will be posted in the newsletter and on Facebook.

VOLLEYBALL MEET-UP

Join fellow RPCVs and friends on Saturday mornings for a weekly volleyball meetup at Anza Park. Start time varies with the weather. Call or text Chris (815-529-2780) to confirm before attending.
