Event Calendar

Please explore the information below to learn more about a few of our reoccurring social events. The Desert Doves are committed to fostering a sense of community here in Tucson. Our community events are open to all: community members, RPCVs, Coverdell Fellows, students, partners, friends, family, (anyone!). All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Desert Doves Events

GENERAL MEMBER MEETING

Saturday, November 15th from 5:30 - 7:00 PM at Susan and Tom's place (1616 East Calle Altivo, Tucson, AZ 85718). We will vote on funding for Peace Corps Partnership Projects at this meeting. Members can also purchase or pick up 2026 RPCV calendars.

This meeting will be a potluck, so please bring a dish to share.

HOLIDAY PARTY

Our annual holiday party and white elephant gift exchange will be on 12/13. More details to come.

DOVES DINE

Time and location TBD in December.

FIRST FRIDAYS HAPPY HOUR

1st Friday of every month at 6:00 PM. The next happy hour is at Zerai's on 11/7.

INTERNATIONAL MOVIE NIGHT

International movie night is monthly. The latest showing was on 10/25. Events will be posted in the newsletter and on Facebook.

VOLLEYBALL MEET-UP

Join fellow RPCVs and friends on Saturday mornings for a weekly volleyball meetup at Anza Park. Start time varies with the weather. Call or text Chris (815-529-2780) to confirm before attending.
