Hours -- Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
Life Message is about people helping people. We are here to give assistance when it becomes difficult to provide some of the simple needs of life. The spirit of giving can be a life changing force. It has the ability to heal the spirit, inspire the imagination, motivate the soul and drive individuals to go beyond their ordinary abilities.
Too often in times of hardship, families and individuals get lost in the red tape of organizations that are designed to help. Local, State, and Federal organizations that are established to help those in need, sometimes put procedures ahead of the welfare of the individuals. Life Message wants to help by providing much needed assistance without all the red tape.
Life Message takes new clients & offers clothing on Tuesday & Thursday. We offer assistance with food on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. There is a representative from TexanPlus on site on Monday & Friday from 1:00 - 4:00 to assist seniors with Medicare & supplimental plans that are no cost to the senior. He can help them with the whole process.
If you or someone you know is in need of help or you would like to find out how you can help, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!

REDUCED FARE REQUIREMENTS FOR RIDING DART
At the DART presentation yesterday at the Community Center their representative Dawn Dorman said that for seniors to qualify for reduced fares they must get an ID card in downtown Dallas. I sent her an e-mail that I had received from a DART supervisor last July saying that we only need to show our Medicare Card. I received the following reply from Ms. Dorman this morning: "I checked with Ms. Lemmons and she clarified for me that you may use your Medicare Card to qualify for the reduced fare."
SENIOR TRANSPORTATION
I have had a few people ask if I know of a service that will provide rides to doctors office, stores and to run errands. If you have such a need you can call 214-790-6425. There is a fee.
