Dear Neighbors,
I wanted to let you know that we have been continuing to work with First Energy regarding the power issues in Brunswick and Rosemont. Please see the information below as an update directly from their representative. I am happy to report that the major work is complete as of today!
This Friday, October 10 we completed our 12Kv realignment work and abandoned the section of line that was the source of numerous outages and the recent surges that caused problems for some residents of Rosemont and Brunswick. This was the last in a series of improvements we made to our system in order to address reliability and power quality issues in that area.
Now, we certainly can’t promise that residents of Brunswick and Rosemont will never experience another power outage, but we certainly CAN guarantee that they will never see another outage or surge due to problems on THAT line in THAT place!
