When EdHeDePhi officially started
The Education for Health Development in the Philippines (EdHeDePhi) Program of Dr. Reynaldo O. Joson officially started in 1989.
Why did Dr. Joson establish the EdHeDePhi
Dr. Joson has been doing surgical missions prior to 1989 to contribute to the Health for All Filipinos Movement. In 1989, he realized that it is more impactful and longer lasting when he do educational missions. Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, you feed him for his whole lifetime. He subscribes to this. Thus, the start of EdHeDePhi in 1989.
30 years (1989 to 2019) of EdHeDePhi
It is now 30 years since Dr. Joson started his EdHeDePhi. He will make an evaluation at 30 years of implementation of his EdHeDePhi Program. (Note: he has made formative evaluation of the EdHeDePhi in the past).
