RoGEP is pleased to announce that the Engineers Ireland and the Irish Geological Society have become affiliated with the Register, thereby enabling their chartered and professional members to apply for RoGEP registration.
You may have noticed that UKRoGEP is now simply titled RoGEP which reflects the Register’s international status.
RoGEP is pleased to announce that during 2018 the register has increased its number of assessors to almost 60
We are very pleased to be able to report that having answered concerns raised by the Ground Forum, the Forum is now fully supporting the aspirations and working of RoGEP.
Following the meeting of the ground engineering representatives of 18 European Countries at Leuven in April 2016 and Oslo in 2017, RoGEP is seen as one example that could be taken forward by those organisations in the international community seeking further registration of their professionals in ground engineering. It is anticipated that the collaboration with European ground engineering organisations may result in registration being incorporated into the national annexes of the revised Eurocodes.
