Changelog

Below is a list of changes in the Gamerip and Source Music albums and the version they were changed in. I have made many mistakes, and I am sorry. The latest version has all changes incorporated; they are listed below if you wish to change them yourself without redownloading the entire album. The only ones that really matter are in bold red. Many thanks to 8azaz22 for tracking down all of this.

I skipped some version numbers. There's no Gamerip v2, v3, v4, or v5, for instance. Don't worry about it too much.

If anyone is able to catch other errors (even names which don't adhere to Hepburn romanization!), I'd be more than happy to hear about it (even if I blew you off before in one of my lazy moods.)

Source Music 1.00 v9:

  • Fixed track 21, Ninja Cop Saizou - Intro Stage, which faded out before two loops finished. Also, renamed the track to Ninja Cop Saizou - Overworld Stage. Please re-download this track.
  • Updated ALBUM VERSION to v9.

Gamerip 1.00 v8:

  • Fixed track 02, Title, which faded before the end of the song. The complete song now plays from start to finish. (This song does not loop, even though the original song does.) Please re-download this track.
  • Fixed track 34, Chimerabot 1, which cut out the drum-less first two loops. The drum-less loops are now included. Please re-download this track.
  • Added bonus track 50, Boss Theme ~ Moderato, which plays only the normal version of the song and then fades. Please download this track.
  • Added bonus track 51, Boss Theme ~ Allegro, which plays only the critical version of the song and then fades. Please download this track.
  • Updated ALBUM VERSION to v8.

Gamerip 1.00 v7:

    • Fixed track 06, Toad Man, which only looped once. It now loops twice. Please re-download this track.
    • Fixed track 37, Wily Capsule, which only looped once. It now loops twice. Please re-download this track.
  • Updated ALBUM VERSION to v7.

Gamerip 1.00 v6:

    • Fixed track 03, Stage Select, which only looped once. It now loops twice. Please re-download this track.
    • Fixed track 46, Arena Lobby, which only looped once and started halfway through the song. It now starts in the right place and loops twice. Please re-download this track.
  • Restored the missing two seconds of silence at the end of tracks 46 through 49. Please re-download these tracks.
    • Changed the Album tag from Rockman 4MI to Rockman 4 Minus Infinity.
    • Deleted the BAND custom tag; I have no idea why it was there.
    • Deleted the Comment tag.
    • Updated the Total Discs tag to 2. Set the Disc Number to 1 for the first 19 tracks, and 2 for all subsequent tracks, like the Source Music album.
    • Added the custom tag ROCKMAN 4MI VERSION with value 1.00 to all tracks.
    • Added the custom tag ALBUM VERSION with value v6 to all tracks.

Source Music 1.00 v5:

    • The last two tracks, Final Fantasy V - The Battle and Victory's Fanfare, were missing the Date field. Corrected to 1992.
    • Added the custom tag ROCKMAN 4MI VERSION with value 1.00 to all tracks.
    • Added the custom tag ALBUM VERSION with value v5 to all tracks.
    • In some previous version of the album, the value in the Comment tag was accidentally deleted. The change is officially acknowledged now; deleted the Comment tag's value in all tracks.
    • In some previous version of the album, the WWW tag was accidentally deleted. The value has been restored to sites.google.com/site/rockman4mi in all tracks.

Source Music 1.00 v4:

    • Replaced track 25, Densetsu no Stafy 2 - Ogura Final Battle and track 29, Densetsu no Stafy 3 - Evil with GBA Mus Riper versions. Before, they were lower-quality GSF rips. Please re-download these tracks.

Source Music 1.00 v3:

    • Mega Man - Boss Battle was attributed incorrectly to Chanchacobin M. and Yuukichan's Papa. Corrected attribution to Manami Matsumae, which is Chanchacobin M.'s real name. Yuukichan's Papa (Yoshihiro Sakaguchi) was a sound programmer.
  • Mega Man 2 - Boss Battle was attributed incorrectly to Ogeretsu, Manami, and Yuukichan's Papa. Corrected attribution to Takashi Tateishi, which is Ogeretsu's real name. Manami is Manami Matsumae, who did other songs in the game.
  • Mega Man 3 - Boss Battle was attributed incorrectly to Bun Bun. Corrected attribution to Yasuaki Fujita, Bun Bun's real name.
  • Mega Man 4 Intro, Cossack Castle Map, and Wily Castle Map were attributed incorrectly to Ojalin and Bun Bun. Corrected attribution to Minae Fujii, Ojalin's real name. Bun Bun did other songs in the game.

Source Music 1.00 v2:

  • Tracks 28 and 38, which were switched before, were rectified. If you want to correct this, rename 28 Gradius II (FC) - Overheat to 38 Gradius II (FC) - Something Ghostly and vice versa, then then fix the Track Number and Title tags to match the new filenames.
  • Track 4, Atlantis no Nazo - Stage Start was uncredited before. Corrected attribution to Sunsoft Sound Team. The credits say "-A.T-, Hiro, NM, & Hide", but come on. Those aren't people's names, and maximum one person composed that particular song.
  • Tracks 21 and 23, Ninja Cop Saizou - Intro Stage and Sewer Stages were uncredited. Corrected attribution to Yoki Shinjuku. The game's credits say "Shinjyuku" but I prefer Hepburn romanization. (Also, more people use it.)
  • In that vein, I've changed the artist field for track 41, True Golf: Wicked 18 - Main Menu to Shigekazu Kamaki, Yusaburo Shimojo, Yumi Kinoshita. The second artist's last name was "Shimojyo" before. I don't expect anyone to care enough to change this.

Source Music 1.00:

  • Replaced Track 7, Mario Kart: Super Circuit: Cheese Land, with a GBA Mus Riper version. Before, it was a lower-quality GSF rip. Please re-download this track.
  • Added three new tracks from Rockman 4MI 1.00. Please download these tracks.
  • Updated the Date tag to 2014.
