Wind Energy Ordinances Established for Roanoke County
Following a process of public hearings in which Roanoke area Sierrans were active contributors, two wind energy ordinances for Roanoke County (one for small residential, one for large-scale installations) were formed and passed by the county’s Board of Supervisors in 2011, February 22 and September 13 respectively.
