RNLI Community Presenter
Volunteer Crew
Colin Brown
Having been an active boating enthusiast and owning my own boat for most of my life the RNLI has always been dear to my heart. Having the knowledge that they were always there should I ever have the misfortune to be in trouble whilst at sea has been very comforting. So when I found myself with some spare time, following my retirement from a career in aircraft maintenance and operations, volunteering to work with the RNLI was quite a natural thing to do.
As an Community Presenter I have delivered well over 600 presentations to groups all over the south east and developed my own presentations and style.
The RNLI story is one that captures audiences young and old and feedback is generally very positive.
My presentation is a fast moving talk supported by video, slide and sound and tells the story of the modern RNLI operations, equipment and training.
Groups and communities I have presented too:
Rotary Clubs
Women's Institutes
Masonic Lodges
Lions Clubs
Retirement Associations

Church Groups
Sailing Clubs
Pensioner Clubs
Gardening Clubs
Motoring Clubs
