Good news, all(!) -
The official word from Tournament House is that they are going to be reopening as of June 5th.
This means that our first week back will be June 12th, 2020 - this shifts our normal 2-month schedule forward (so this next session is June/July instead of June 12th being somewhere close to 1/2-way through April/June).
The Intro level class will still be starting at 6:30 PM, so for who had contacted us or expressed interest in learning, or brushing up on languishing skills, please make a reminder to attend.
We will, however, still be following the modified rules set out by USFA (the suspension of Rule T.122 which states that fencers must shake hands with their opponent at the conclusion of a bout). Salutes prior to and following a bout or practice drill are still mandatory and expected ... if you so choose, elbow bumps in lieu of handshakes are
OK - in fact, that has been our club's substitution for handshakes if someone is feeling, or suspects, that they're starting to come down with the plague (or just a cold).
See you on June 12th!
