PPV JBL
This has been a figure that I wanted since it was first released but couldn’t justify dropping 10 bucks on. Well the RSC Christmas sale made it worth my while. JBL has his goofy smile head scan and black trunks with the red, white, and blue JBL logo on the back. He comes in knee pads and a bolded on ring jacket. I like the jacket look though I typically am against molded on clothes. I do however wonder where the Jakks line would be if Rocky was never picked up. So many new molds and fresh additions came to the line just because of rocky. JBL comes with a towel. Would have been nice to have had his hat thrown in there too. RS Rated: 5

Shawn Michaels
I have been holding off from getting an HBK figure in white for a while and chose this figure as my opportunity. He comes in cream and black pants. The pants are very detailed even with what looks to be a zipper down the sides. The back displays a small HBK logo. I would have rather had the bearded head scan than this but this one will do. He has his heart tattoo as well. Pretty much your run of the mill HBK figure. RS Rated: 7

Triple H
Well we really are getting to the nitty-gritty as far as the Jakks WWE line is concerned. What sold me on this figure was the head scan. It was the only HHH scan that I had yet to own so I snagged him. I really like this scan with the full beard and a slight smirk. He comes with knee and elbow pads. His hands are taped and there is nice detail on the finger tape. Only down side of this figure is the lack of accessories and the lack of designs on his tights. RS Rated 6.4
The Great Kahli
Yes the Punjabi Playboy gets a makeover. This is a great figure featuring the new face version of Kahli. The figure is the same as his internet exclusive version featuring his new head scan. The only difference is he comes in his red/pink pants. The pants feature the text Punjabi down one leg and Playboy down the other. All in all a decent figure RS Rated 8

Chris Jerico
I am not sure what series this Y2J figure is from due to the fact that it was purchased on eBay as a custom. But if memory serves me write I think it was a PPV series figure (Royal Rumble maby?). Any ways, The figure was a basic Jericho with his short haired smiley head scan. His tights have the save us logo on either side and he is equipped with tall kickers that say Jericho down the side. His tights are also decorated with Y2J logos on the front and the back. This version has black elbow pads and wrist tape. Included in my special custom purchase were a great soft leather vest and a custom WWE Undisputed title belt. RS Rated: 7.5

John Cena
Ah the figure that is affectionately referred to as Big Head. A name that is all to deserving. I mean seriously look at that thing! J.R. used to refer to Albert (A-Train) as “ol’ eight and three eighths.” I think he would agree that this Cena would be a solid ten and thirty-one twenty-sevenths. This version of the title-less Champ is in his blue AWA style HLR gear. They wisely left out his hat as we know, even if it were made of nice soft rubber, would never fit that dome of a head. He has his Cenation sweat bandon his arm and his HLA wrist bands. He comes with the World Heavyweight Title. I think the kicker on this figure is the wristband detail. Over all it’s a decent figure and despite the head size it is still nice to have a different look for John. RS Rated: 8
Goldust
Not much to say about this figure. I had the old RAW X anniversary version but unfortunately the paint became ruined from using the wig with him. So I wanted another basic RA version of him. I am not sure, but it seems as though, this less glossy paint used on this figure will be more resistant to the evil powers of the rubber wig. The design on his outfit is decent but I love the head paint. They even went as far as to make his ears black and leave skin showing on his neck. He has black gloves, plain black boots and his back says his name. *air sucking nois* Goldust! He is packaged with a WWE logoed microphone. My only gripe is it his in shape head scan and not his new current RA head scan.

Tyson Kid
Well well well. If it isn’t the only man to legitimately dethrone the Missing Link from the title of worst hair in the history of professional wrestling. Well it is a bitter sweet moment to receive the latest series of ECW as they will be some of the last, truly new figures from Jakks. Hate all you want, they have been ground breaking the world of wrestling action figures. Tyson has his hideous hair do with a pretty good (not great) likeness. He has short style tights with a pink maple leaf on the front and what appears to be angry flaming owls sides. His hands are taped and he comes with a rubber vest. Unfortunately this is the only accessory comes with. Over all, this is a decent figure for his debut and a great way to finish your Hart Legacy. RS Rated: 8
Christian
This represents Christian’s 2nd ever RA scan and his first since returning to the WWE. The head scan is great and features an angry scowl. Though I must admit, I would have preferred a good old Captain Charisma smirk. Christian has black wrist wraps and black tights with orange and yellow logos. He comes with a microphone. This version even has his tattoo on his left shoulder. Personally I am very happy with this re-birthed Christian fig.

R. Truth
This was really the only figure in this RA line that was worth getting for me. It is R-Truth’s first RA style figure and looks pretty nice. The head scan isn’t perfect but is good enough. He has that dark skin tone that fits him well and is in his jeans with R-Truth down the side. This could also easily substitute as a K-Kwik figure if you like. He comes with a microphone so you can stand up and say “Whats up!”

Jeff Hardy
This is my first Jeff with face paint. He has his black tank top and pants and comes with the screaming head scan. This scan is ok but doesn’t look so great once it’s painted. Love the tattoo work on his right arm.

This is a great version of Chris showing him in his scruffy beard. He has yellow tights with scratch marks on them and 4 Real on the left leg.

It was nice to get Psychosis with an alternate head scan. He has detailed tattoos on his forearms and arms and has great logo work on his pants. Super Crazy looks awesome in his Mexican flag outfit.

MVP
Not sure what series he was from but I know it’s semi recent (anyone that has the info please send it my way). This red version of MVP had long caught my eye and I acquired it from a recent trade from a fellow WF’er. I have to start off by saying I am a bit tired of this head scan. The corn rows just look odd to me and it’s high time for a revamped scan. I really enjoy the detailing of the outfit on this figure. From the designs on the side, to the zipper, and even the little MVP logo on the chest. For me this figure is out and out Ball In!

Chavo Guerro
“Oooooooooo Chavo! Chavo everyone.” Yeah… awesome lyrics? Another figure I received and have no clue what series he came from. He has the latest Chavo scan which looks good for an angry Chavo. I kind of wish they would release a scan with a molded on head band for him. Here he comes in black tights that have logos on each leg and “Warrior” across the front. His boots are decorated with gold flames which look quite good if you ask me. They kind of remind me of Eddie’s boots. Not sure if there is a story behind that or not.

CM Punk
Yes another figure whose series I do not know. One of the difficulties of trading. All I know is I like it for the most part at least. I wanted him because it was the first Punk I had with this head scan. Although I think I like the other better this is good in it’s own right. I really like his attire in this one. Always had a preference for the stars. They are just so throw back. Remind me of a guy who we may never again see in plastic. OHhhhhh Yeah! So sad to think about. But that’s another story this is about CM Punk. The only down fall of the figure is the lack of tattoos. I mean I don’t see what the big deal is. It’s only free advertising for Pepsi and G.I. Joe. Don’t know why they left the cobra logo off as they have included it in past figures.

Ruthless Aggression 39 VLADIMIR KOZLOV
There are very few interview segments that stand the test of time in professional wrestling. A couple that come to mind are the Jim Ross Mick Foley interview from the attitude era, or the Austin/Doc Hendrix interview from the king of the ring. But the one that stands above all else is the series of interviews with Mike Adamle interviews with Kozlov. Yes he was a new guy on the block and this was our chance to learn about his very colorful in-depth character. Where he told us “I love double double E.” Wow so deep. I mean to describe so much about a character that we even learn his favorite bra size. Which in this case happens to be ridiculously enormous. I mean I have heard of double D but E?!? And then add not one but 2 doubles in front of that! Vladimir must be missing them Russian bears.
Oh yeah no back to his action figure. This is Kozlov’s debut in plastic and I am generally pleased. His head scan is great and captures his likeness superbly. I still can’t help but to see Killer Kowalski when I look at his face. I don’t know why but I just think that Kozlov looks like Kowalski did in his later years. His attire is plain but completely accurate. His boots are decorated with a star on the outside. There really isn’t much to say about this figure. It is as plain as the character of whom it represents. It’s clean and accurate and I like it. He comes with a WWE logoed microphone.

MARK HENRY
Beat him up, beat him up, break his neck, break his neck, and for the love of God somebody split his wig. Oh 3 6 Mafia and your crazy lyricisms. Let me just say. It’s about time we get a new Mark Henry head scan! This one has been long over due and the out put. A great head scan. I appreciate that Jakks went against there old ways and gave mark the smaller big guy torso for this figure. He still has a nice cloth singlet but this time it is plain black (no colored trim as in his previous figures. Also this one comes with out knee pads. So a bit of a fix up may be in order. Though it is quite hard to fix that problem with the large legged guys. This figure is so hot that he had to come with a fire extinguisher. Not an accessory that I am crazy for but it is good for what it is and isn’t released as heavily as many of the other accessories. Personally I would like to go back to chairs, tables, and ladders. Those are always good ol’ standbys.

I always regretted not picking this figure up but through the magic of eBay she is all mine. This is her first real good head scan. She comes in this great black jumpsuit with pink trim. It even has the detailed Trish logo on the back with a circled “100% Stratusfaction Guaranteed.” Just an over all great figure. I am looking to put her head on a new bustier diva body in the future. Hope the Jump suit still fits.

The Big Show
This I thought was an interesting series entitled “One Night Only.” Now that is a PPV that I have not heard of in some time. I am aware of the PPV “One Night Stand” but as far as I know “One Night Only” was a WWF ppv that was seen in the UK during the late 90s. There were 2 British PPVs that one and Rebellion. So I really don’t know where they got the name from.
The figure however makes allot more sense. A great big show figure. He has the same mold that he has had since his debut in the RA line. His tattoos are well detailed and multi colored. He even sports a new head scan this time around which is a fresh new twist to what would otherwise be a stale figure. He has a subtle tattoo on his right calf of “TKE.” No idea what that means and the back of his neck has one that says “Bess.” At least that’s what I’m guessing it is. It’s really hard to tell since mine got smudged off a bit in production. The one thing that is a major downer about this figure is the singlet. For some reason, Jakks just refuses to give Show the longer leggings on his attire forcing him to have the Andre style short singlet. I just wish they could clear this up for once.
He comes with a Kendo stick. This is one of Jakks’ better accessories. I mean they are still going all out with it and the fully detailed painting to make it an ace item. It is complete with different colored tape and padding and even string. I have 2 main complaints about this though. The first is that is released far to little. The 2nd is the material. Its made of that soft rubbery plastic material which causes it to be all warped. For me I would like it to be made of hard plastic like the folding chairs are. This would keep the proper stiffness as well as deliver a nice sharp cracking so und when being used for those extreme rules kind of occasions!

Hornswoggle
This little guy was once again a bit hard to track down but I found him hiding behind a RAW arena box at TRU. He is prone to such behavior after all. So you may be wondering, do we really need another figure of this guy? I mean come on? My answer is yes. As for me, this is the “ring gear” Hornswoggl. I simply wanted one with out his jacket on and this satisfied that need. It’s nice to see a bit of differentiation with this version seeing him in the orange vest. His shoes are also well detailed. But the hat has lost the gold trim seen in his original release. Not much else to say. With treacherous trios out now there is yet another one to flood the market and I predict WF’ers getting frustrated with seeing the half sized figure warming shelves. The way I see it is it’s the price we have to pay. He is a unique mold and the way Jakks is, they will push out figures of the mold to justify the new tooling of parts. So if you weren’t expecting it you were foolish.

The Brian Kendrick
To my surprise I finally found Kendrick at one of my local TRU’s. This was an exciting figure for me personally. It’s been pretty rare to see softs included in a regular RA assortment. The ring jacket is just simply spectacular. It fits well and is easily removable and has detail on the collar as well as on the belt, shoulders, zippers, and buttons. I mean just simply great. He also comes with a microphone with a WWE logo on it! Yay. Of course there is still only one side with a logo. Maybe some day we will get a 360 detail microphone. Other than that the figure is pretty basic. Has tall kickers with new style knee pads. I think I would have put the short kickers on him as he’s a smaller guy. I think that would have been a bit more accurate. His trunks are black with a nice detailed logo. The head scan is the same one we have seen before but with the added detail of a painted on goatee. Over all a very solid figure.

John Cena
One of the first John Cena figures released to represent his White Rapper gimmick. This was a figure that has long eluded me and thanks to a trade on the WF forums it is mine. He is in maroon warm up pants with a white stripe down the side. He comes with a matching hat and plastic immobile chain. The figure is pretty plain but over all I like it to represent his early days on Smack Down. This figure would have been a amazing had they added a removable jersey but as is it’s good enough.

Katie Lee Burchill
This was the last figure in this series that I needed to find and I finally found her! Jakks has really been cranking out the divas over the last year and this is a good example of how they are changing things up a bit to release both ring gear and non ring gear versions. Katie is a decent figure and will work well for ring work purposes. She has the pants mold and the smaller chest sculpt. There is limited move-ability with her feet however due to the flared pants mold. She comes with a boring unpainted microphone.

Cherry
I was glad to see that Cherry got another figure released before her release from the company. Though her last was in the very cool roller skates I am glad to have her in a wrestling style attire as well. The figure is over all pretty plain but is satisfying too. The head scan is the same as before with the small torso. Her skirt has playing cards on it and her saddle shoes are very detailed. She comes with a microphone which is a bore and once again is void of WWE logos.

Colin Delaney
Yes the most surprising guy to make it on the WWE roster since Zach Gowen. This figure has created a great deal of controversy since it hit shelves mostly due to the fact that it is so damn good! IT is an almost completely new figure with all new parts. The chest mold the hands, legs, boots, knee pads, singlet straps, all pretty much never before used. The head scan is decent and represents Colin quite well. I love his arms and how they fit on the torso as he can really cradle him self well and hold his abdomen from the pain of getting squashed by his opponents! He has new knee pads to fit his smaller legs. They are kind of like the new style but have no openings in the back. His boots are new to with long dangly laces in the mold. They really did a nice job on the straps too. The rubber works well. IT is attached to his waist but is also free moving so you can spin it a bit if you like too. Even has dangling laces from his trunks. Now I really think it would have been a bit more cost effective to have given him a cloth singlet like big show that could have been taken down but I think this actually looks better than that would. As far as accessories he comes with the old unpainted ECW belt (gotta love the irony there).
So you may be wondering why this figure has been so controversial. I mean its great. Borderline perfection. Well that is just the thing that has annoyed so many. IT’S COLIN FREAKIN DELANEY. He was fired, and basically a glorified jobber that got a near perfect figure and there are so many other guys (Big Boss Man anyone? That we would have rather seen get a brand new mold. Its kind of funny to see something so great cuase so much frustration.

The final one that I needed form this series and I snagged him today. Pretty basic but nice just the same. Comes with a removable singlet but he also has a painted on one underneath. Not sure why they didn’t put the leg part on the singlet but it’s nice for what it is. This would have been nice to see. He comes with a mic. Not much to say. It is what it is. Don’t really know why he came with the cloth but it was enough to convince me to buy it.

Umaga
I have been holding off on getting a new Umaga for a long time. My only other version of him was his debut in Adrenaline. This figure is about 90% new molds. The new legs are much better on the eyes but they are even less mobile than his previous mold. His new torso is much more fitting and the new arms are better of motion. The arm pits of the torso are nice and honed out for mobility and he even has, though they are oddly placed, nipples. I love the new hand mold as it is perfect for the spike and can still hold on to stuff. The head scan is a bit goofy if you ask me too. Out standing tattoo work even getting his neck tattoos. But the old elbow pads don’t really fit this new arm mold. My main gripe is the hands are meant fro the old arm mold. So they are really fat around the wrists. Looks like Umaga is wearing big gloves or bracelets or something. He is also very tall with the new leg mold He comes with a black chair and I’m always down with that. Over all, it’s a solid figure.

Charlie Hass
This wasn’t a figure that was on the top of my list by far, but I picked him up anyways. Pretty basic figure of Hass in a singlet this time. Not much to say. HE comes with a cookie sheet which is rather boring but the fig is good for what it is.

Maryse
I must say that Jakks has really been kicking it up when it comes to debut figures in the RA and AD lines. This series shows the first look at Maryse. The smaller chest torso works for her and she is in her black and silver attire. I like her straight hair and the head scan is pretty decent. She has the high heals mold which I’m not to crazy for since they are so hard to pose. Not to mention, who wrestles in heals? She comes with a chair! Yay for chairs! Great debut and another diva to add to the roster.

Mickie James
Not my favorite Mickie figure but I’m a sucker for a new head scan. This one really isn’t that great though. I like the shorter hair and her moth is very Mickie but from the nose up just doesn’t fit her so well if you ask me. This time she was given the smaller chest mold which I disagree with in this case. The attire is very detailed with silver trim on the top and ornate pockets on the pack. The knew lower leg mold is neat but the colors and the knee joints just look odd to me. She comes with this long stick thing. Yeah I know it’s the thing that came with TTL Steve Blackman but they really don’t have any use other than that. I mean releasing it with a diva is nothing short of suggestive. That and it’s just a boring accessories.

I have to be honest here but I’m not too familiar with Smith. I haven’t seen him on Smack Down since I have only tuned in sparsely and I think I saw him once live. But the head scan is good. His attire is a bit boring but I think that’s probably accurate. The boots are highly detailed. Great debut for DH. He comes with the locker room bench which is an accessories I have yet to see be released for some time now in the RA line. This time it has black posts which is kind of different. Not much to say. I love debut figures and am glad to have him.

The final debut figure in this set is the incomparable Kofi Kingston! I have to admit I am a huge fan of this guys work. He is just so fun to watch. I love the debut yellow attire as its such a contrast with his dark skin. His attire is detailed in green and black with palm trees and his name across the back. He has a tattoo on his left bicep and has Jamaican collared wrist bands. The head scan is good for me. He comes with a crappy ECW belt. I have to say with out at least having the Hardcore painted on there, this belt is one of the worst unpainted. It’s time to upgrade to the new ECW belt anyways. I’m really pleased with this figure.

Well I’m not sure if the hat is from Unmatched fury or not. Can anyone clear that one up? The attire is perfect and the detail is amazing. The buttons are painted, He has a scarf, the head, the hands, its just awesome!!! His hat and even the shillelagh is done spot on with different colored wood detail. He is in black and pink tights with silver trim. The front says Y2J. The side has the Jericho silhouette pose with save us on it. He is complete with tall kickers with golden letters of his name. I believe they went with the DA style head which was a great choice. The hair color is much nicer than his first RA appearance. He comes with a chair and you know that I simply love chairs. How apropos that the Glamazon be released in the same RA debut series as Santino. She is featured in her purple and silver attire with black trim. She has her trademark head dress and golden locks. I relay like the hair mold on her figures and the silver ont he back is stunning. She comes with a microphone which is kind of boring. I mean it is a diva figure which uses less plastic than a regular wrestler, so does it hurt them to give us a sizeable accessory. But it is what it is. Wait. No. This is inexcusable. It is a microphone but does it hurt you to put the WWE logo on all 4 sides!!! Give us one with the logo all around already!!!! *catches breath* I’m okay now. I want more plastic for my money damn it! Another debut figure in this series. Let me tell you its nice to see so many debut figures coming out and this is a credit to Jakks. But this figure lacks much to be desired. The head scan is well nothing more than okay. his hair should be a bit longer in the back if you ask me and the scan doesn’t even have a unibrow. But what is most annoying is the jacket. I just don’t like molded on jackets and this is just an excuse to use that stupid rocky torso again. But I guess its okay to have him in entrance gear. On second thought it would be nice to have a JBL with this torso for entrance gear. But thast neither here nor there. At least the jacket is detailed with his name on the back. Now on to his name. Does anyone know what’s up with his name? Is it a throw back tribute to Gorilla Monsoon or his son referee Joey? Always wondered that. Okay now back to the figure. He comes with a red fire extinguisher. I really wish that this would not be so molded. Like I wish it was bigger and the hose was removable. But it’s a not so common accessory so its nice to get another one. Lets bring out the Honk-a-Meter. I think this figure gets 5 and a half broken guitars and a hideous honky tonk man pony tail for good measure. Not the greatest figure but good enough. I am looking forward to his adrenaline release.

This was the most difficult figure for me to find out of this set. I really looked everywhere and only snatched her last week. The attire is great if you ask me. And it’s nice to have a more current looking figure of Mickey. Great debut fig in the RA line. Plus she came with a chair. And you can never have too many chairs! My only compliant is this problem with the rubber in Jakks hair. It always messes with the paint on figs attire for some reason. I really wish this would be corrected.

CHRIS JERICHO: Well I must echo the voices of the others before me. Not a fan of this fig much at all. The head scan is well. Fit for a da fig if you ask me. The screaming scan makes me think they had a little mix up. And the hair color is way to yellow. It just seems to me that the head scan doesn’t look all that much like Y2J. On second thought the more I look at it the better the face looks. It’s just that awful hair color that tarnishes the fig. The attire well it’s not ring gear which is also a disappointment. Any way didn’t Jericho wear a vest on his debut? I could be wrong and please correct me if I am. The fig does have its ups. It has a fair amount of detail. Including the chain, belt, and studded wrist band thingy. He even has cowboy boots which was a nice little touch. I really don’t like da figs but the head is far superior. This fig is sub par in my opinion. I hope to get a couple more of him with the da head scans in trunks and long tights.

Upon a look through the EXPENSIVE Target shelves I was surprised to find Lillian! That leaves just one last diva for me to hunt down in this set.
I must say it is so great to finally have her in my collection. I have wanted one since she began announcing and never thought I would see jakks produce one. Now with a pretty complete announce team she is one of the final pieces to my ringside area. Now for a review. The head scan overall is pretty good. A bit rough in parts but not enough to gripe about. It is nice to see that they spiced up her skirt with a bit of detail. My main complaint is the upper body torso. She really should have had the more petiet chest mold. Don’t believe me, just take a closer look at Ms. Garcia tomorrow on Raw.

SHELTON BENJAMIN: It’s nice to finally get the gold standard with the Sysco hair. Once again it’s a bit disappointing to see him in entrance gear but the gear is actually pretty good looking. Now I know that the only reason was to justify the new Shane McMahon mold but it was put to good use here. They made the outfit rather detailed and I really cant complain much. They even gave his top a back logo. Way to go Jakks. But the accessory? Yeah remember when Benjamin used a stick in a match. Me neither. Still a fig worth checking out.

FUNAKI: Isn’t it apropos that Show Funaki come with a trash can. Oh the irony. Well at least it is the full trashcan and not just the lid. But honestly I am a Funaki fan and its great to see him finally released in a mass released line. I really do like his white attire on this fig and the knew knee pads go great with the fig. The head seems a bit awkward due Jakks still using the R3 head (that I don’t believe ever mad it on an r3 version). My only other gripe is his size. Seems they used the taller boots mold on Funaki. I think the original WWEast pack one was much better scale wise. But is it a fig worth picking up? INDEED! Damn I love that guy.
