Custom Figure Collection

This page is dedicated to my collection of custom and fix up action figures. Use these as examples of some of the great customizers work before you buy, or simply get ideas from my own personal fix ups.

_____________________________________

The New Rockers

Leaf Cassidy

Simple fix up. Got an extra 3pack Marty. Got an Al Snow head and removed the help me text. Not perfection but I like it.

Dan the Beast Severn

Well I was so excited to see the UFC Dan Severn figure at my TRU but the problem was he was two dam tall due to the UFC figure style so I popped his head on a CSTT Austin (from the Jake Roberts 2 pack). The head is big but a good representation of Dan. One lessons from this figure is that Jakks doesn’t know how to make shirts. This thing is impossible to put on and remove. If you want his original body check out ebay. I have him up for customizers here: http://shop.ebay.com/ringskirts/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340

WWF Television

Proof positive of Ralph’s Collectable’s will work with you to create whatever you need. I had the idea that it would be cool to have the crew jumpsuits that camera men used to where in the WWF in the 80’s and early 90’s. Well I asked and Ralph delivered. Now my arena is one more step complete.

Tatanka

Not much to say here. Just got a Don Morocco body to put Tatanka on a diet. Never liked his overweight torso he originally had.

Ralphs Figure Gear

Customs

Macho Man Randy Savage

Now Normally I can’t say enough about Ralphs gear but the tights don’t do well when stretched. The stretchy material that they are made from is great for fitting the figure but it does lead to a bit of flaw to the designs. Still this is a minor set back as the gear looks great. It features black and white stars, separate leg tassels , a leather white belt, and a great dew rag. The spandex material fits great and is pretty easy to apply to your figs. Throw it on a Dr. Death and you got instant Madness.

El Matador Tito Santana

Well with the Jakks contract now at the end I figured it was time to break down and make my own Tito figure. Simply add the CADA Tito head to an RA body and spice it up with Ralphs gear. This outfit is simply amazing. It comes with leggings, tights, jacket, cape, and even wrist bands. The detail on the coat is just phenomenal. The only thing missing is the hat he used to carry to the ring.

Special Guest Referee

Great little referee shirt to make anyone a special guest ref! It Velcros up the back. Only thing that I would change would be to add a black collar.

The Rock

Simple sleeveless shirt. Flawless. Nothing else that needs to be said.

Tug Boat

Well I was in the camp of people that were upset when we got the Shockmaster over the Tugster but seeing that Jakks actually gave us our Storm Trooper mask I decided to stop wining to Jakks and go to the man that takes action. Ralph. His gear is awesome and fits great on the large body molds. The pants can even be used as alternate tights for Abdual the Butcher. Only thing that is missing was his sailor cap.

The Patriot

Another great outfit by Ralph. The Mask is great and the tights are incredibly detailed. Highly recommended for those of us who miss the glory days of the classic line.

Mr. America

Well after WWE legal put the crack on Jakks Mr. America exclusive it was up to Ralph to pick up the slack. I added my own feather boas and the Jakks American Made t-shirt to his tights, knee pads and mask. The mask seems to have suffered the same problem as the nWo savage pants as there seems to be some stretch stress to the white star. Still decent gear.

Nicolai Volcoff

This shirt is great for the one and only one cent man. Great to expand your million dollar corporation.

Giant Machine Singlet

Well I was fed up with the inaccuracies of Jakks Giant machine figure so I snagged Ralphs giant machine singlet. A wonderful piece. It is made out of spandex material making it so easy to apply to your Andre figure. Enjoy pics of all my machines Giant, Big, and Super.

General Adnan

I really was at a loss for whose head to use for the Iraqi general so I went with this. Anyone have any better ideas? I just desperately needed the third man for my summer slam main event.

Macho Man Randy Savage

This is such a versatile set of ring gear by Ralph. Included are a great set of tights that stand well on there own or with the vest top. Add the amazing Macho Man ring jacket and you are set to make up for the biggest void in the classic superstar line.

-----------------------------------------------

Rowdy Roddy Piper Wrestlemania 6

Some call him the Hot Scott. Some call him the Hot Rod. I call him an interesting reminder of a less politically correct past. This has been a custom that I have wanted since seeing his DA exclusive. He came from eBay for a very reasonable price. Simply put, he’s just your typical long haired Piper figure painted black with DA knee pads. The DA style pads are surprisingly nice on his RA legs.

The Narcissist Lex Lugar

Just a simple custom made to represent Lugar’s early WWF gimmick. A great way to make that transition to the American made version that would soon take Yokozuna by surprise.

Crush

Just wanted to post the little fix up I did. When I got Crush, I immediately new he needed the claw hands upgrade. This simple fix has done wonders. Now he is all set to apply his finishing maneuver to coconut that rolls in his path!

UFC 0

Gracie

I must preface this by letting you know that I don’t care much for UFC. It’s just not my thing. So why would I get this figure? Well one reason is curiosity for the articulation and scale comparison. The size is right in with RA so that’s pleasing. The articulation is a bit to get used to but incredibly fun. I wish they would add the shoulder parts to all there figures. It really increase the number of moves that can be done but I have to admit this added articulation looks a bit odd. That’s the trade off for more articulation. Other than that the figure is pretty much the same articulation as any other DA style figure only with smaller toned down muscles through out the body. The other reason to get this figure is the removable gear. AT a $9.99 price point this is cheap now days fro a figure, let alone full gear. I mean I love Ralph and his gear but at these prices you get great gear and a figure as well! And lastly the best reason to get this figure is because we have never had Ricky the Dragon Steamboat. Not a perfect “custom” but he will be a suitable substitute for Steamboat.

RS Rated: 10

Wrestlemania 2 Rowdy Roddy Piper

For those of you that may remember my last version I used the Ivan Drago body which was way to ripped. I admit I am not thrilled with the look of the heavyweight torso but it’s at least less ripped. I simply put the short haired piper head on a rocky body and added some piper boots to finish it off. The WWF logo is simply a print out.

The Machines

Just a simple little fix up I did, and you can too. Do you have a Giant machine figure that is inaccurate by missing his pants? Do you have a Paul White figure in a gigantic snow suite? Well why not have Paul lend his “daddy” a pair of pants? Does it look great, no. The bulkiness is a bit of an eye sore. But less of one than the lack of pants.

Mark Henry

I was lucky enough to score this custom figure off ebay for a very reasonable price. It is the first version mark hennery figure with the hard to find Final Count ring gear. It says worlds strongest man on one side and has a strange logo of the earth on steroids.

Steve Lombardi

OH before he brawled in Brooklyn, he was a purple tights wearing gimmick-less jobber. As opposed to a gimmicked jobber. Plain and simple but I like it.

Scab Referee

For those of you that have been following the WWF/E for a while may remember the time that the referee’s went on strike (insert your abe knuckleball Schwartz joke here). Well the one scab ref that remember to cross the line was none other than the Steve himself. My dream has come true. 3 Steve Lombardi figures in my collection.

Referee

Nothing special here. But I think Joe’s head makes for a good generic ref.

Justin Credible

This is a custom that many people have pulled out on WF and I figured it was about time I made mine. I simply got a RA Jamie Noble and used my TTL Justin Credible for the head. I finally found a great tool to hone out the head of TTL figs that works pretty good (don’t ask what it is some big drilling thing to hook up to my drill. Found it in my box of drill bits). Over all it’s simple but I enjoy having him in RA style.

_____________________________________

Barry Windham

Well as mentioned with my last post the body I had on this custom before was a bit, unrealistic due to it’s ripped nature. So this one is on the more flabby torso. Generally I like it and am quite satisfied. I just used the body of the OTR Ric Flair figure. I still wish we had a Windham figure with his hair tied in a pony tail for a bit of variation. But that will only be a dream.

_____________________________________

Ric Flair

Well since Ric had been making a few appearances on Raw I had an itch to have a current style suited Nature Boy. Simple fix up of his current head on the CS tag team horseman body.

_____________________________________

Barry Windham

I know the torso is a bit too ripped for Barry but I couldn’t stand to see him in that era inappropriate horseman shirt. So this will do for now.

_____________________________________

Larry Zabisco

Simply put it’s the Rocy referee head on Bruno’s body. I think this could also pass as a decent Lou Thez but for me Larry was more my time.

_____________________________________

Chris Benoit

Yes as the boys over on the Wrestling Round Table would refer to him, he who we do not speak of. Picked this up off ebay. He has custom painted, semi-playable tights with the BOWCW head. Nice to have him with out the t-shirt on.

_____________________________________

V.K. Wallstreet

This was a custom that I have wanted to do for a long time but I had trouble tracking down an extra Terkay body. Well here he is in all his glorious WCW 90’s obscurity. Mike Rotundo as Mr. Walstreet! I still remember the first time I saw him on a WCW trading card and wondering “why isn’t IRS wearing his tie?”

Boris Zukoff

Well since I had a second Nikita from the 2 pack and singles repeat I decided to do a quick and simple Boris. Just added a Highlander head. I know he would look better with a bigger head and the larger singlet torso but for now this works.

Sid Justice

I love mimicking the Hasbro figures that I grew up with so here is my blue Sid. Now I just need to snag me a pair of blue knee pads.

Doom

Ron Simmons (Farooqe) Butch Reed

Another quick smash up from some extra parts I had laying around. Would be better if they were in tights. Also I think KoKo B. Ware would make a better Reed head but this is all I had for spare. The pants do make good for a nation style Farooqe.

_____________________________________

The New BlackjacksBlackjackBradshaw and Blackjack Windham

Here are a couple of customs I got in off eBay. Not the greatest customs around but they are decent enough. The Windham is obviously not accurate as his hair was short during that stint. Shame that we have gotten such craptastic releases in the past CSTT sets. New blackjacks are both signed. There really is no reason to have not had them by now.

Supperfly Jimmy Snuka

I have long wanted later career Snuka and with the receiving form a recent trade I have been able to do that. With the custom singlet and a boots switch now have a nice Jimmy to represent that short window of time when he wore boots.

_____________________________________

Current Style

Rowdy Roddy Piper

Many of you long time readers may remember my current style piper. Well he is now complete with a black kilt. Just goes to show you that cloth looks much better on the not so fat figures. Oh well.

_____________________________________

Mr. McMahon

Seems my custom Vince collection is ever growing. I scored this one off eBay. I think the body really captures the look of Vince in the attitude era. Add in Stone Cold and I will surely recreate the old Jakks WWF BCA commercial!

Al Snow

Yes another simple custom by me. Ever since I got CS 13 Al I wished he wasn’t branded as a member of the J.O.B. Squad for ever (or should I say for life?). In a past trade I got a free Sylvester Terkay that I wanted just for this purpose. He head was a bit beat up and his pony tail was about to fall off but for my plans this mattered not. So at TRU Sunday they had a spare CS 13 Al on sale for $5. Now I have an Al that can escape the black cloud of being a jobber. A simple head switch with some hand swaps and leg swaps. After uploading the pictures I realized how dark the hands I used were. I would like to note that they have since been changed to a matching tone. Over all I really like this change and it has left me craving a Leaf Cassidy figure! New Rockers 4 Life!

Sting

This custom came from my buddy over at Pilkamania Customs. The head choice is the first run John Cena scan and I think it may even be slightly modified. The face paint and hair color are great and I love the detail work on the scorpion logo. A great fig.

Jim “The Anvil” Niedhart

This was another figure I got from Pilkamania Customs. This is the long awaited match to my CS 13 Bret Hart. The team is now complete. From what I can see it looks to be a Jay Strongbow torso that has been painted but he actually used cs13 Bret lower legs. It really turned out nice. Bret is now complete!

Undertaker

I snagged this steel from eBay. He came with a Ralph coat which is great in and of itself. Also came with the new style undertaker hat. The figure is the CSTT taker head and gloves on a new tattooed body. Kind of like WrestleMania 13 Taker. I think I may do a head switch to make it more like that era. The only down side is that his gloves are glued on and there for are stuck in that position (no wrist rotation) but that’s a minor flaw that I can look past.

HBK

This was a figure that I have been searching for, for quite some time and it’s finally mine! Not only did I get the figure but it came with some great custom gear which I believe was originally made by Karisno and not Ralph but I am not 100% sure. The gear is amazing. The detail metal things are just so cool and the real working zippers and button on the chaps really blew me away. The figure is great too. I am not 100% sure but I think this represents his return to the WWE after he ditched street gear and those hideous brown tights. The set cost about $20 which I think is about what the vest and chaps used to cost on there own with out the figure. So all and all it was a great deal!

The Big Bossman

Yeah I couldn’t stand staring at the sloppily dressed Bossman any longer so I took a leap of faith and cut off the front part of the “Pauly” un-tucked shirt. Is it perfect, no but I do think it makes the figure look allot better. I am much happier with my Bossman now.

HarleyRace WCW Manager This has been a custom that I have re done many times but I finally got the blond head I want. Not sure if I should leave it on this body or find a fat suited body to go with it. Any thoughts?

Vince McMahon WWF Monday Night RAW

Not perfect but I wanted a Vince to use for the early raw days. This scan is a bit angry for that era but for now it will do.

Mean Gene Ring Gear

I mentioned a while ago that I as thinking of trying this. I know the arms don’t really match but I think its fun for the one match that Oakerlund had.

WWFOfficial

Yeah I think I just may use this as a random WWF official. It is the old Fred Blassie head but I think it makes for a decent Pat Patterson.

Custom Undertaker

This is a nice little custom I picked up. Comes with the new style hat which fits awesome. HE also has a Ralph coat. The arms are fully tattooed and he has the SARA on his neck. The only down side is his hands are glued on but that’s something I can live with.

HBK WrestleMania Recal

This is a figure I have long been hunting for since passing him up years ago. It was purchased loose and is in less than desirable shape but what can you do. I put a non scratched head on it. Some of the logos are scratched a bit, the left shoulder is loose, and the waist spins faster than a Hasbro Texas Tornado. But until I find a better one for a decent price he will do for now.

Mean Gene Oakerlund

Not much to say. Just a simple fix up I picked up of Gene on a CS Vince body. Im thinking of the possibility of making a ring gear Gene from his brief stint teaming with Hogan.

Davey Boy Smith

I finally took the leap of faith and trimmed his braids off. Does it look great? No. But from the front it looks decent. The back view is a bit odd but over all I am glad that I gave him a hair cut. If you can’t wait for his singles release then I would recommend taking the leap of faith and taking Davey to the barber shop.

Mr. McMahon

This is the way CS22 should have been. Just had a shipment of custom parts from a fellow WF member you know who you are. This is plain simple and I’m very happy with it.

Hogan Japan

Got this from the same as above. IT is simple but really captures that era Hogan as well. I think it is simply the rocky head modified with a bit of paint. The body looks like CS Luger with some red knee pads. Over all a great figure that I am proud to have in my collection. This is another example of a figure that looks much better in person then it does in photos.

Jessie “The Body” Ventura

Yes, ever since I got my first Jessie figure I was dying to make a decent announcer version. I simply put is head on a Lance Cade jeans mold body and added a custom tank top (Hogan shirt inside out that I made until I do one better for Jessie) and the Clubber Lang jacket. Over all I think its pretty damn good.

Vince McMahon PPVversion

I also picked up an extra tux body at the KB going out of business sale. How sad is that. But decided to do a quick McMahon as he was on PPV events. He looks really sharp in a tux if you ask me. I can hear him now “Welcome to WRESTLEMANIA 3!!!” or “And now… to sing..am.mer.i.caaaa…the.. beautiful.. Ms. ARETHA FRANKLIN!!!” Plain and simple. Also looks great with the king for a later WMX PPV era.

Little Derogatory Italian Name

I mean Nunzio

So I won a little combo deal off eBay for a day and ra Nunzio. I simply did a head switch as I like the new scan. To bad he was finally fired. I must admit I’m surprised it didn’t come sooner for the little guy.

Rugged Ronnie Garvin

Yeah I know I’m not the first to do it, and yes it’s a bit of a stretch, but hey I had the extra parts and it’s good enough for now. Just that HBO commentator from the last Rocky flick on a Backlund body. The skin tones are off but it’s good enough for now.

Harley Race

Many of you may have seen my no neck Harley race TTL suited custom. Well I got a hold of another suited body and I like this one much better. I would still rather have the blond head instead. If anyone has a spare blond Harley let me know.

Ralphs Gear!

So Santa Clause was good to me this year and hooked me up with a plethora of figure gear from Ralphs Collectables. Here is my glorious holiday bounty:

Powers of Pain Gear

The stuff that Ralph thinks up is nothing short of incredible. The chains on both outfits look tremendous but I doo have a few complaints. One is on the Warlord. The back of the mesh is left bare on the top. Now this may have been accurate but I just hate the jaggedness of it and wish he added a piece of leather on the top like he did the other 3 sides. And the Barbarian’s fur thing looks just a little to big and bulky if you ask me. Just over sized. Not perfection but pretty good.

The Nasty Boys

One thing that Ralph really fails at is taking all around pictures of his products. I really didn’t know what to expect when I saw these on his site. But man in person you can see they are phenomenal!!! Not only does it have the color marks on the front but it is full color on the back with “Nasty Boys” and “As nasty as we wana be.” This was awesome to see. but wait it doesn’t’ stop there. Look at the chains! He really went the extra mile on this item. Sure they are expensive but let me tell you, you get what you pay for here. And it’s pure gold!

Leather Vest

This is an item that is rather versatile. It can go great with a classic Terry funk, Bob Orton, Sid, Diesel, or many other figures. It even has the detail of little tasteless and studs. No corners cut hear folks and it’s one of Ralphs more affordable items. Very nice multipurpose garment here.

Ludwig Borga

Some people prefer a Finlay head, I like Drago. Sure it’s not perfect but then again neither is this gear. There is great detail done to make the Finnish flag but that detail leaves the singlet and knee pads a bit bulky. This just seems to be what happens when you make high detail little things. Not my favorite piece but it looks at least okay. I do like how he used elastic thin strands as the singlet straps though. What can I say. I don’t highly recommend it but it’s pretty nice.

Mr. T Wrestlemania version

Once again, I can’t nock Ralph on his detail work. This looks pretty decent and it does dress your clubber up nicely. It’s just the same problem that happens with allot of custom figure pants. They end up looking a bit bulky. It is a bit tricky to figure out how to put the knee pads on over the pants to. If you buy this, the trick is to put the pant legs through them before putting the pants on your figure. It made my T look much better, just the bulkiness takes a bit away from the final product.

Kim Chee

This is another example of Ralph’s perfection. I am so impressed with this set I don’t know where to start. You get the pants, shirt, belt, and mask (hat not included). It is a near perfect representation of Kim Chee and you can put any figure you want in there. The mask looks perfect and can be used for any generic masked wrestler that you want. The outfit could also be used for a Paul Jones custom if you could find a decent head. Any one think of any heads that would be good for Paul Jones? I mean it has little buttons, Velcro fastening, and a belt buckle. It’s great! I really have little to say about this except it is a pure gem and I’m so happy to have it.

Jerry The king Lawler

A nice little jacket and it dresses up the King nicely. Very reminiscent of his early WWF days both as entrance gear and behind the booth. I only wish Jakks made a fig to represent him in this era.

The Conquistadores

One of the most random and possibly dumbest tag teams in the history of the WWF and I love that Ralph thought enough of them to make there gear! This is just a wonderful set. I don’t know who the Conquistadores were (I know they were Spanish conquerors of some sort in history) but I think they were various guys or whoever was available to fill the role that night. Hell they were Edge and Christian one time and I think they won the WWF tag titles! Regardless who they were, this gear is amazing. The masks are great and the stretchy gold material is just awesome. The back looks a bit sloppy where the Velcro is but I understand that this is hard to compensate for. I’m gonna end by saying I love this set.

The blue blazer

You know Jakks or any wrestling figure company will never again touch this tragic reminder, but that’s where guys like Ralph come to the rescue! I’m glad to have my 1st blue blazer figure finally as I never fond the BCA one. This set came complete with a mask, singlet, and cape. The mask is a bit bulky compared to the others I got but this is likely due to the material used. He did great work at making the mouth opening clean and neat. The singlet fits a bit odd as it has wide straps. I was also a bit disappointed in the logo quality as it has began to crack already. The feathers on the cape also fold it a bit strangely but I cant blame anyone for that as it’s the nature of the material. Didn’t the blazer have some sort of red logo on the back of his cape though? I’m not sure. This is definitely worth picking up especially since it will be your only way to get him in your collection. And remember kids: say your prayers, eat your vitamins, and drink your MILK!

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Sam Houston

This is one of the few customs that is 100% made by me. I was watching WWE 24/7 and saw an interview with Sam and realized that he looks allot like Tommy Gunn. So I snagged a Tommy for this fix up. With Cow boy boots and custom chaps it’s a pretty decent custom if I do say so myself. Admittedly the torso is way to ripped, but it will do until I find what I need.

Ric Flair WM24

You may be wondering why this is in the customs section. Well you will soon see by scrolling that it is an RA version. Special thanks to my buddy Matt G. of MGB films and Crash Collision Wrestling on YouTube for picking me up the DA Flair while at RSF. If you are interested in the DA body with the other head it is available and will soon be on eBay. Check your listings the Monday after thanksgiving! Back to the figure. The robe is simply a beautiful piece. The head scan is perfect for this era flair. I really couldn’t be happier with it. He comes with a Hall of Fame plaque which is nicely detailed but really doesn’t have much use. Unless the fantasy scene below came true.

Chuck Palumbo (Billy and Chuck version)

Just got this hot off eBay and I must say it’s a decent little custom figure. Looks like it’s just a R3 chuck head on a CS Bob Backlund body but it works. Not much to say as it is simple and great for a Billy and Chuck duo. The only thing that sucks is unfortunately Billy’s head doesn’t look nearly as good as Chucks on an RA body.

.

Unmatched Fury Batista

Yeah I know this is not a custom at all but I never plan on buying more of these so for now the review will just get stuck here. For those of you that remember reading my Santino Adrenaline 2 pack review you know I got an error figure. Well I wrote Jakks, and here is what they sent me for bringing it to there attention. It was MOC UF Batista. Which I have to admit is a nice gesture. I am not a huge fan of the series as I like figures to be played with so these don’t really do it for me. And if I were to get any it would have been Hogan. Actually I was going to buy Hogan but the lack of detail on his dew rag turned me off.

Now back to Batista. The figure and likeness is truly nothing short of impressive. This being the first time I have healed a UF figure in my hands and it’s kinda cool. I mean it looks amazing. My only criticisms are minor. For example his head has a line around the neck. It almost looks like the figure is one complete sculpt except for the head. Not a big deal cause if your looking head on you don’t see it. But I just don’t get why this was needed to be done. The mid air flying clothesline pose is really cool too. I don’t know why but his left arm is poseable. It pivots around for some reason. My main gripes are with the base. Now I like the over all detail of it but some things don’t make sense. They put a black ring skirt on it which makes sense but there is a blue ring post. Or a little piece of a blue ring post. Now WWE hasn’t use blue ring posts since the mid 90’s. And For a blue post combination that would have to be at Wrestlemania 8-12 or one of the early to mid 90’s survivor series. None of which was Batista involved in. Another annoying thing is that they didn’t include the ring post or ropes. And lastly he is doing a flying clothesline into the ring post. Just bad placement if you ask me. I admit I am biased as these are not for play. But they are nice detailed statues. Which is further support that CS LJN figs are useless. Because if you like statues you should by Unmatched Fury figures. They are detailed and look good. More evidence for my argument that the new LJN figs are useless and a waste of precious space in the CS line.

George Washington Duke

Yes once again this is not really a custom but I didn’t know where to put it. This is another example of the great detail that Jakks put into the Rocky line. Just filled with softs and accessories. Not much to say about the figure. Not even sure why I wanted it but I did. I guess it can make a Mr. Huges stand in. Too bad there is not good suited heavy weight black body to make a simple fix up with.

Custom DDP

Yes with the release of the CSDA DDP I had to get him for the head scan. Just put him on the CS ra style body. I know I’m not the first to do this but I had to copy cat it. If you are interested in the da body with ra head it is up for grabs on ebay starting at 99 cents! http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/ringskirts

Repo Man

Yes this is the Repo man the way he was meant to be. Well almost. Thanks to Pilkamania customs he was able to switch out the shoulder balls for me so that I could have a ring gear repo man. I guess to be perfect jakks really should have had him in the heavyweight singlet torso like the anvil. But this is much better than what jakks came out with. So my own smash arms plus plikamaia’s shoulder switch and Ralphs jacket makes the best repo money can buy.

Ric Flair

So if you read my review of this figure you will note that I was not happy with the knee pad style. So Pilkamania came through for me yet again. This time with some custom painted knee pads. I love how they are two tone being lighter in the back than the front as this was the style back in the day. Neat and simple but over all I’m very pleased with these.

Jack Tunny

Yes the esteemed president of the WWF is now in my hands. Many people have done this same custom. And thanks to … you guessed it Pilkamania , I was able to get a great custom head to complete my president.

Current Hacksaw Jim Duggan

Here is a fig that jakks has really dropped the ball on. Much like they did with Ric Flair who had a classic fig long before he got a current figure made. Well the same has been true for Duggan. Jakks really should have cranked out a current version of him by now. But regardless, it’s Pilkamania to the rescue. A simple look but it captures Jim perfectly for his age. Some fine detailing to lighten his hair ever so slightly, blue gym shorts with white stripe, perfect torso, and smaller style arms. Really great fig.

The Godfather THE WAY HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN! I think the title says it all. Yes this is the godfather that I remember. Not slim and trim. But big, tattooed and nasty. Pilkamania customs did a great job once again with the colors to my specifications. Even included a green hat and detailed red trim on his boots. I included an alternate attire version just for show.

Road Warrior

Just got this in the mail today from ebay. There is a bit of paint wear on the beck of the head but not too much to worry about. I still have to take off the make up to make it the true last incarnation of animal but I’m not sure if I want to attempt that yet or not. The price of this fig was unbelievably cheap so I had to get it. And it came with the custom attire viewed here. And guess what. It is real leather. Can’t go wrong there.

Terry Funk

This was a great pick up from the world of eBay. This K-mart exclusive from the “Extreme Super Stars” 2 pack was something that I long ago passed on and have since regretted. Well It’s now in my hands (though I would still like the mankind fig that to). The figure is really great for a late career version of the Funker. He comes with a great Funk U t-shirt, is in jeans, and very detailed boots. He comes complete with taped fists and his trademark headband. My one complaint is the shirt color. I would have rather seen something other than white. But the log is truly awesome. Also the playability. The legs are jean legs on the heavyweight torso which is just a bit odd and severely limits move ability. Now what made the auction even sweeter (besides the under $10 price) was the accessories included in the action. Yeah a boring baking pan but also the hard to come buy shopping cart and a chair. But not just any chair mind you. One rapped with some really good custom made barbed wire. Over all like this figure allot and the price is definitely right.

ECW Announce Team

Todd Grishim and

Matt Stryker

Another great deal on eBay for under $5. Here I snagged both Matt Stryker and a custom Todd Grihsim. Sure its just a suited body with Nunzio head and glasses but its better than what jakks has made. Oh yeah. That’s right they haven’t, and most likely never will. So it was a nice price for 2 figures and 3 accessories and I couldn’t pass it up.

WrestleMania 12 HBK

Just a simple fix up and if you ask me it’s the way it should have been. Just a simple heads switch with the DA HBK head. The head is a nice change from the tired old HBK head that originally came on it. The hair is long and really representative of the era. If anyone is interested in the loose DA body It is up on eBay. There you will also find a great Hardy Boys set up for bids. http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/ringskirts

The Living Legend Bruno Samartino

Yet another product of the RSC super sale last month. I picked up a Bruno fig off eBay and made an announcer version. Its clean and simple. Sure it would be better if the jacket was that Bruno yellow style but I’ll be happy with this for now.

Hulk Rules

Shirt I decided to make another go at a Hogan shirt, this time with the world Famous Hulk rules. I really like how this one turned out. It is super stretch so no Velcro is needed. That means no bulkiness and back slits!!

ECW style SID

Another credit to the Ringside Collectables sale was this creation. Adrenaline Cade plus Sid equals Sid ECW style. This is a great simple fix up and it really looks amazing if you ask me. Well worth the cash especially with the great deals RSC is having now. With a bit of ingenuity and a RSC you to can make this great fig.

Ric Flair x2

I finally broke down and shelled out the cash for a CSDA ric flair head and this is what I did with the parts. First I made a 1992 era flair and a early 80s flair. The 92 version is the Off the Ropes flair with the CS8 head. The 80’s version is the csda head on the cs8 body with an old set of TTL ric flair knee pads. Those pads are some of the best ones jakks had ever made. The two toned paint really sets them apart from the rest. This is one of my favorite fix ups to date as it’s truly the way it was meant to be.

Yet another CS Ref

I don’t know why but I am just a sucker for the Classic Ref fig. I snagged another one from the Ringside Collectables blow out saleand put the head of the old BCA style ref on.

Kurt Angle

My final fix up to my custom Kurt Angle figure. Unfortunately the skin tone of the r3 head did not match so I had to stick with the ttl head. After trouble honing out the head it still stuck up too far. I simply cut a piece of a ¼ diameter wooden dowel and this is what I came up with. Over all I’m pretty satisfied.

Undertaker

Yes I know have the quintessential undertaker figure. I snagged a da taker for the head and man is it a beauty. Not much to say. If you are interested in the body of the da taker or some other custom parts please make sure to check out my ebay listings.

I just got another custom order from Pilkamania Customs and was once again very pleased. He works with you every step of the way and i highly recomed him. It's worth it to take a moment and check out his site at http://www.pilkamainiacustoms.piczo.com/?cr=5#. His work is so great and best of all, all the paint work is sealed well so it is fully possible and playable. His custom naiz sculpting is just phenomenal. Unfortunately the photo doesn’t give it justice at all. But in person the texturing and color are spot on. I added custom tastes to Lex and the bulldog and the jumpsuit on nailz is of course from Ralph.

Ralphs Collectables Order Number 2: This time Ralph really came through. Great product and much faster shipping this time around. \

Tiger mask:

It’s a shame that I had to do this but since jakks couldn’t do the mask but Ralph pulls through. Fits great, looks great and makes this fig no longer useless to me.

Virgil Pants:

Plain and simple. They are awesome. Really dresses up my custom Virgil figure. Now I just need to get a non boxer shorts mold to put them on so they fit better.

Brutus Beefcake Megga Maniacs Gear:

Comes with shirt that side velcros. IT actually isn’t too bad. A bit much with the frills but I like it. The arm bands really tie the set together.

Repoman Gear:

Simply incredible! The detail on the jacket is superb. The tire patches with studs, the hook that jakks left out, and the logo work on the back. Highly Recommended!

Smackdown! Referee

Received the body in the mail from an ebay auction and added an old JBL head. I think it makes for a decent Charles Robinson.

Harley Race

Just wanted a quick manager figure to follow vader around in WCW. Still looking to find another blond version of the head to be more accurate.

_____________________________________________________

Tatanka

Plain and simple. Just added blue knee pads. I may look for a skinnier torso with blue trunks in order to make him less chubby.

Kurt Angle

I wanted an ra debut angle but man do I hate hollowing out heads. Did the best I could. I just don’t know the trick to ding this.

Big show.

Made big show current style. Head switch and threw on some knee pads.

Mr. McMahon

This is a figure that jakks really missed out on. Simple and great addition to my collection. Made by a fellow ebay member for a very reasonable price. Playable.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan

Another quick and simple ebay find. This is Duggan in his black trunks much like he debuted in the WWF in.

_____________________________________________________________

Curt Hennig

Another debut style figure. This depicts what Mr. Perfect looked like when he debuted in the WWF. It was not until his Wrestlemania debut that he sported the famous singlet.

Macho Man Randy Savage

This was a great custom done for me by skribbel24. I had to have a macho man and his was one of the only ones that I really liked. As I always say if you cant tell who’s head is modified at first glance, it’s a good custom. For more information on skribbel24 customs make sure to visit my links page.

Here is a group photo of my simple fix up WWF officials. From left to right: Earl Hebner, Joey Morella, Pat Patterson, Tony Gorea, WWF President Jack Tunny.

Bobby The Brain HenanHere is a figure from another one of my favorite customizers at Pilkamania Customs. This fig is in accurate ring gear which is much better than that 1 of 100 jakks joke. And as a bonus it also has a removable weasel suit! If you are interested in more customs by Pilkamania Customs make sure to visit my links page.
