You are certainly free to have as many visitors as you wish, provided that you observe the Fire Code, as well as the overcrowding and noise by-laws. We would also expect you to inform your guests of any issues and rules we have agreed on, such as our allergies and our non-smoking / no-pets policies. If your visitor becomes permanent, we would expect a rent increase to compensate for the increased use of resources.
If you are having a party that might cause noise during "silent hours" as mandated by city by-laws, we would expect you to let us know in advance so that we can plan our sleep accordingly. That does not mean that you are inviting us to your party. In return, we would extend the same courtesy to you (i.e., letting you know in advance if there might be noise late in the night). Such events should only be occasional and not occur too frequently.
