How are we going to take Unitarian Universalism into the new millennium, make us a religious force to be reckoned with, bring ourselves into the mainstream and allow ourselves to reach our full potential? By walking together—finding strength and wisdom and nourishment in the process of sharing our journey. In order to fulfill our promise in the future, we need only look back to the wisdom of our Puritan forebears, and learn to be what we were meant to be—a community in which each congregation retains it’s autonomy, but becomes so much more just by being neighborly. I am the author of chapters in several recently published books about transition ministry. In addition I have contributed meditations to books about the spirituality of animals and the saving power of Unitarian Universalism.
Here is a video I was invited to make - Part 1 and Part 2 - about the relationship of stewardship and ministry- for the now retired Director of the Congregational Stewardship Network, Wayne Clark.
