Our Board Certified physician is Dr. Keith D. Fisher. He has been practicing Retina in Fort Worth since July 8, 1991 when he joined Dr. Gary Cowan (now retired) and practiced with him until Dr. Cowan's retirement in March of 2022. He has previously served as President of the Texas Ophthalmologic Association and President of the Tarrant County Ophthalmological Association. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Oklahoma. He graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York in 1986. After an internal medicine internship at the University of Oklahoma Tulsa Medical Campus, he served his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He then pursued further specialty training in retina at the Harkness Eye Institute at Columbia University. In his spare time, he enjoys flying helicopters, playing saxophone in a blues band, pickleball, and skiing.
