The Delaware Lackawanna and Western Railroad ran in an East to West alignment along the Northern boundary of the ironworks. This was taken looking East, the tall smokestacks of the ironworks visible on the horizon (middle). The DL&W Wharton Station is on the right side, beyond the rail overbridges.
Travelling East and then looking back reveals the station and the reverse side of the two railway overbridges. The ironworks is behind and to our left.

Scan of a print of a photograph loses a lot of detail unfortunately.

The ironworks were also serviced by the Wharton and Northern Railroad, for which there is a Facebook Group.
