Dear Participants,
Hello. Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Lt. Colonel David Hann, and I serve as Provost Marshal for the parade. I would like to thank you for you participation in the parade. Over the years we have marched in heat, cold, snow, rain and even under terrorist threats, and each year the parade seems to get bigger.
To ensure that we have communication between all units marching in the parade we respectfully request that you send one representative from your group to our parade briefing held at the Unity Park Monument on Lefever Street at 12 noon.
I would also like to call your attention to a couple of pages on this site such as “Parade Rules” and “Order of March” please refer to these pages and if you have any questions, please bring them up at the meeting. If you have any questions during the parade lineup, please seek out either ask for me or one of the Deputy Provost Marshals. We all wear yellow armbands with “Provost” or “Deputy Provost” on them.
I plan to add another page on the website to highlight and events that are going on Remembrance Day weekend. If you have a special event, I would be more than happy to add it. You can email it to me at MajorSVRProvost@Gmail.com
Thank you for your time and participation, and I hope to see you at the parade briefing.
Respectfully,
Lt. Colonel David Hann
Provost Marshal
