Hello. Please allow me to introduce myself, I am David Hann and I serve as the Provost Marshal for the annual Remembrance Day parade. The Gettysburg Remembrance Day Parade is the oldest and largest Civil War parade in the United States. This parade helps us in our mission to preserve the legacy of The Boys in Blue who fought to preserve the Union as Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines from 1861-1865.

The reason for this letter is that we need your support. Each year operating expenses incurred with the annual Remembrance Day Parade increase. Every year the parade grows larger with more reenacting groups and more spectators, and this causes a strain on our already thin budget.

Any donation would be deeply appreciated. We are 501(c) 3 non-profit organization.  Gifts to the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War are tax-deductible.
