Innocentata Medicalos: reality.
Jenny got a phone call in her room weirdly enough while she was in the
middle of writing a story. Probably is just donny trying to check up on her
like usual. Sometimes he invites her somewhere.
"Hi Jenny. I heard you were a IM." Came the women on the other line.
"Hi Sally. I mean Your honor."
"No Sally is ok. Especially from a old friend."
"Yeah I haven't heard from you since we finished finializing the kidern
paperwork on my parents."
"Yeah how are they anyways."
"There doing pretty good. They still don't know the truth but there enjoying
life."
"Hows your sister and brother?"
"Kate died of thirst and John died of a fever they think it was pnemonia. I
was supposed to join them."
"I'm sorry. I'm glad your still around though."
"Thanks. So what's up?"
"Well I have a interesting case I'd like your help on."
"What kind of help?"
"Well see she seems to have reckless behavior. Almost killing herself like.
I'd like you to show her that were not immortals. That reckless behavior can
kill her and or another person."
"Ok when's the court session."
"A week from now."
"Perfect."
Next week Jenny alone went to court. A court officer took her to court. The
Judge sent the officer.
Jenny walked into court just in time. "I'd like you to meet a friend of
mine. You probably already heard of her. Jenny Chain the only IM every heard
of ever. Jenny will be taking you to give you a reality check. This is to
teach you that your not immortal and the rejuvenator is not and I mean not a
cure all."
Jenny walked over to the defendant. "Now I'm recessing this case. But I'm
not ending the case. Jenny take her pleaze."
Jenny left the courtroom with the girl in tow and the court officer taking
them to the doctors office. On the way Jenny started talking to the girl.
"How old are you?"
"16."
"A sixteen year old Kidern playing games with fire. Swimming without people
watching to make sure you don't drown. Going out at all nights to who knows
where. And drinking and driving your not even old enough to do that?"
"Theres no proof I drank."
"Doesn't matter. You can kill yourself or someone else by doing that."
"We have rejuvenators."
"Rejuvenators do not cure everyones troubles. I know. My parents died of to
much rejuvenation."
"But there alive."
"There bodies maybe there souls are gone. My sister died of thirst."
"Thats just one person."
"My brother died of a high fever."
"So."
"Do you have any siblings"
"Yes one sister."
"Would you think so little of it if it was your sister who died of thirst in
front of you?"
"I guess not."
"Its the worst thing to die of."
"How do you know that?"
"I was dying of thirst twice. The first time I was rejuved only 3 hours away
from my death and I was rejuved as a penny not a medicalos. Thats why I have
the I on my wrists."
"What about the second time?"
"Well I actually did die of thirst. My new mom had me rejuved without my
permission and I didn't want to be rejuved again. Thats why the M. I was on
a possible cure at the time without knowing it."
"So do you still have the disease are you still dying."
"Thats what were going to find out."
The car parks and they go up to the the doctors office. And when they get to
the receptionist desk Jenny talks to the nurse. "I have a appointment for
Dr. Marcus. My name is Jenny Chain."
"Go on in. You no where to go right."
"Yes ma'am."
Jenny took the girl with her right into the office. "How did you get in here
this fast?"
"IM's privilege besides I know the doctor even before I rejuved."
"Oh."
The nurse walked in and took her blood. "While were waiting for the results
can we watch one of the pennies get vaccines?" Jenny asked.
"Sure. Next door is a murderer and rapist. He killed and raped 5 girls."
"Wow I got to see this."
Jenny and the girl went next door. And just in time to see a different nurse
taking the little girls temp. "See thats what happens to people who do
crimes. Even if you didn't mean to do it this can be you. Remember that. I
go through that and I'm not a penny."
"huh?"
"I'm allergic to scanners. But What were about to see is something that only
happens to pennies." The nurse starts spanking the pennies bottom and then
injects the shot. And the kid crys and everything. They leave when Jennys
nurse calls her but the shots are not finished yet. And thats 15 minutes
later.
They both go to the room next door and Jenny sits on the examing table. When
the doctor comes he has a worried look on his face. "I'm sorry to say the
disease has come back." Jenny puts her hands over her face and starts
crying. And the girl Kidern watched this the entire time with wide eyes. The
doctor patted Jennys back trying to calm her down.
When jenny calmed down enough the doctor said. "Well we still have a chance.
You'd have to rejuve next year with the cure in your system but its the only
chance."
"You mean because of the three months make up. That will mean I'll never
grow up at all. I'll always be 5-8 years old. and what if the disease gets
me really sick in the middle. I'll never make it."
Jenny burst out crying harder. By this time the kidern girl started crying
to out of sympathy.
The next day Jenny and the kidern went back to court. "So have you learned
anything from your experience with Jenny."
"Yes I will never treat life like there is always tomorrow it really is
possible that there is no tomorrow. I'm sorry Mommy. I'm sorry grandma. I
promise I'll never misbehave again. I'm Sorry Jenny I hope theres a cure
soon."
"Speaking of cures." The judge said with a smile. "Heres the real results I
know you wanted to know Jenny. The disease hasn't come back."
"Huh what?" The girl said.
"We facked the results Jenny knew it all the time so that you'd learn how
serious this problem is. The disease hasn't come back now but it might. And
your risking your life is the same."
"Yes your honor."
"Now I'm ordering counseling family and individual and I'm putting you in a
mentoring program."
"Your honor I'd like also for her to join me at my group counseling
sessions. It would be good for her to see what people who lose people
feelings are."
"Ok. If there is nothing else" a pause. "Ok court adjorned."
