Teacher Grants

The teacher grant application process allows the Reeves Middle School PTA to review staff requests for money to support projects, supplies and equipment that cannot be funded by the Olympia School District or other funding sources available at Reeves Middle School. It also allows the PTA to approve requests based on the annual budget, which is available for review upon request. Preference will be given to requests that benefit students most directly and/or benefit as many students as possible. The specific number of grants awarded will be determined by the number of applications received and the priorities already noted.


1.   The application can be completed online https://goo.gl/forms/sF7waOo9jTvSy8kl1 or by filling out an application  which is available in the Reeves office and also available on our website.   

2.   Grant applications will be reviewed at PTA meetings in November, January, April and May.

3.   Applicants will be notified via email if approval or denial within a week of PTA review.

4.   Applicants may be asked for more information or to come to a meeting to explain their request.

5.   A record of all applications will be kept with the Reeves PTA.

6.   Grant funds will be approved and distributed until all budgeted funds have been allocated. Grant requests are maintained under budget line item, “Staff/Teacher Requests”.

7.   Applicants will be provided with more information after approval about the reimbursement process.

8.   Receipts must be provided in order to receive reimbursement.
