Happy 2024-2025 School Year!

On behalf of the PTA Executive Board and all our members, I want to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning families! My name is Whitney Bowerman, and this is my first year serving as the Reeves PTA President. I have two daughters at Reeves, in grades 6 and 8. I hope you will join me as a PTA member in collaborating with our incredible teachers and staff to create a supportive and nurturing community for all of our kiddos!

PTA meetings are held the second Wednesdays of each month at 6:00 pm. We meet in the Reeves library and you can also join us by Zoom.

I encourage all parents to join the PTA and volunteer your time as you are able. Becoming a member provides financial support for the PTA’s activities and adds you to our email list to keep you in the know. The PTA strives to host a mix of community-building activities and fundraising events to match the diverse interests and needs of our students. We partner each year with the City of Olympia to host an Activity Night, which features a dance, board games, karaoke, and more. In mid-March we recruit parents to donate store-bought pies and serve students pie on Pi Day. Throughout the year we host various fundraisers to raise money to support giving teachers grants to enhance learning in the classroom. And more!!! For all of these events, we rely on parent volunteers like you! There is a role for everyone, no matter how much time you have to give. Your ideas, your time, your voice, are vital. Please look for volunteer opportunities in our PTA emails!
