The Search Firm looks into highly skilled people that are already working in other companies and offers them the job. Sometimes a Search Firm can hire Executives from the client company's competitor too. The Search Firm then provides a shortlist of possible candidates to the client who then do further assessment before selection.
Temp Agencies on the other hand handle the temporary executive all on their own. This involves the process of hiring, negotiating salary, firing them and any other event involved with the temp. The client company cannot directly fire the candidate. Instead, they need to report the problem with the temp to the Temp Agency. The Executive Temp Agency will then take the necessary action.
