Rannoch Geology
The geology of the Rannoch area is very varied and the types of rocks which are exposed here have an effect on both the natural history and man's activities.
The photo of Queen's View looks West along Loch Tummel which is a ribbon lake and to Schiehallion which is largely constructed of quartzite.
