With all the moving parts, it’s no secret that real estate development takes a lot of planning. Each aspect of the development of a project cannot be overlooked. The number of people working on it and the number of things that need to be carefully followed depends on the size of the project.

In planning a residential neighborhood, real estate developers take into consideration things such as street layouts, infrastructure designs, landscapes, city regulations, sustainability, and a lot more. In line with this, developers work closely with architects, engineers, urban planners, lawyers, and other industry experts.
The entire planning process exists to make sure everything is organized when the time comes for actual construction. This is when the most important decisions happen, the decisions that will directly impact the livability of the project.
Some of the key points of discussion in planning include road and sidewalk layouts, parks and playgrounds, road designs, public transportation stops, walkways, and the budget. Landscape artists also have to be brought in so when livability is taken care of, aesthetics would come next.
When a neighborhood is developed, and people see the quality of life that can be had in such a place, it’s easier to put a price tag on it. It all starts with planning.
