ON Board TEST , the escorting AC Mechanic should do for proper diagnosis and reporting.
1. Earth leakage
2. One Alternator No or low generation
3. One inverter defective
Inverter Bypass Method
Both Inverter Healthy
If the coach has Inverter emergency change over panel then Switch the RSWmeant for defective Inverter to emergency mode.
Note : Maximum load on Inverter on bypass mode restricted to 37 Amps. So maximum 3 compressor load can be given to a single Inverter.
Inverter 2 defective so isolated, and supply of Inverter 1 is extended
4. Inverter Tripping when plant load given.
5. Inverter Bypass switch panel - Smoke emission , over heating ..
Inverter bypass change over panel is a critical location in view of fire hazard.
AS both inverter supply are available in each 63 A rotary switches. Any problem in rotary switches or overheating of connecting leads may cause electrical short circuit inside the panel which leads to failure of both Inverter and both plants.
If any overheating or smoke emission case found then only option is to bypass the panel it self from the supply.
Before attempting any must switch off both the Inverters.
