The QUT annual PhD scholarship round is now open!!!

In particular, QUT Postgraduate Research Awards (QUTPRA) applications close at 11:59 PM on 30 September 2017.

Applicants are encouraged to refer to the Guide to applying for the scholarship round (PDF file) prior to submitting an application.The QUTPRA provides a living allowance for three years, indexed annually ($26,682 in 2017). The scholarship is tax exempt for full-time students, and can be used to support living costs. International students may also receive a research degree tuition fee sponsorship.

All scholarships available in the annual round are:

Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend (Domestic)

Pays a living allowance to domestic students.

Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend (International)

Pays a living allowance to international students.

QUT Postgraduate Research Awards (QUTPRA)

Pays a living allowance to domestic students and international students.

Indigenous Postgraduate Research Award (IPRA)

Pays a living allowance to a student of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.

QUT Women's Re-entry Scholarship (WRE)

Pays a living allowance to a female student who can demonstrate a significant interruption to her academic career.

There are also faculty-funded, institute-funded and top-up scholarships available.
