INTRODUCTION
Heartsaver First Aid is a classroom based course for anyone with limited medical training who has a desire to learn First Aid. This course does meet the job requirements for daycare providers, teachers, school employees or practically any other profession requiring certification in First Aid. Queen City CPR utilizes the 2019 guidelines that were set by the American Heart Association. These are the most up to date guidelines available and provide the greatest chance of success in an emergency situation. The course is taught by Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitoners who possess a Master's Degree in nursing education.
COURSE OVERVIEW
During the First Aid course the participant will learn how to respond and manage an emergency during the initial phase until EMS arrive. The course will provide education on how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and many other first aid emergencies. The course typically lasts approximately three hours. Queen City CPR provides all materials, mannequins, and testing materials. Upon Successful completion of the course you will immediately receive your certification card.

The cost of the Heartsaver First Aid course is $125.00 per person. Payments are due at the start of the course and are cash only unless prior arrangements have been made. Same-day pricing will be determined on an individual basis
