(Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation)

INTRODUCTION

 

    Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a classroom based course for anyone who would like to have the knowledge to effectively react during an emergency situation. Queen City CPR utilizes the 2019 guidelines that were set by the American Heart Association. These are the most up to date guidelines available and provide the greatest chance of success in an emergency situation. The course is taught by Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners who possess a Master's Degree in nursing education. 

COURSE OVERVIEW 

    During the CPR course the participant will learn how to provide CPR to victims of all ages (adults, children, and infants), how to treat a choking victim of all ages, and how to utilize an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in a safe and timely manner. The course typically lasts approximately three hours. Queen City CPR provides all materials, mannequins, AED's, and testing materials. Upon Successful completion of the course you will immediately receive your certification card.

     The cost of the CPR course is $125.00 per person. Payments are due at the start of the course and are cash only unless prior arrangements have been made. Same-day pricing will be determined on an individual basis.
