I am an economics Ph.D. candidate at the University of Texas at Austin. I also work at the Center for Research in Electronic Commerce, McCombs School of Business. My research concentration is the economics of information systems (IS).
The bulk of my research attempts to extend economic models of information systems in two directions: designing market mechanisms in information systems using game theory and experimental economics; and differentiating different forms of social contagion in online networks using empirical methods (My Google Scholar Citations). My research has been cited in Bloomberg Businessweek.
Before joining UT in 2009, I received my M.A. in Economics from CCER, Peking University, China and B.A. in Economics from Chu Kochen Honors College, Zhejiang University, China.
I will be joining the Department of Information Systems & Operations Management at the Warrington College of Business Administration in the University of Florida starting summer 2014.
