Expectations in Dynamic Macroeconomic Models (EDMM)

This workshop aims to bring together leading experts in the modeling of expectations in dynamic models with applications including, but not restricted to: macroeconomics, financial economics, labor markets, IO, theory.
Continuing Education in Macroeconometrics (CEM)
November 22nd
This workshop brings together early-career researchers from universities, central banks, and other policy institutions to tool up on some recent developments in macroeconometric research methods and obtain feedback on their own research-in-progress.
We invite paper submissions to the Expectations in Dynamic Macroeconomic Models (EDMM) Workshop and the Continuing Education in Macroeconometrics (CEM) Workshop, which will be held in coordination at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Adelaide on the 21st and 22nd of November, 2024.
The workshops will both feature CEM’s traditional masterclasses by

If you would like to participate in the Workshops, please submit your paper to cem2024@adelaide.edu.au by September 15th. Please put EDMM or CEM in subject line to indicate for which workshop program you would like to be considered. Early-career researchers are particularly encouraged to participate and will be given priority for CEM presentation slots. Limited funds may be available to cover some ECR and PhD travel or accommodation expenses. Please indicate in your submission if you would like to be considered for travel funding. We expect to finalise the program by end of September.

The annual meetings of ANZESG in Australia and New Zealand are regular forums that provide a supportive environment for econometricians and applied economists to get together, to present their work and to discuss econometrics. Since its inception, key features of ANZESG meetings have been collegial interaction with scheduled discussants for presented papers, time for floor discussion, combinations of theory and empirics, and awards to recognize young scholars.
