The annual meetings of ANZESG in Australia and New Zealand are regular forums that provide a supportive environment for econometricians and applied economists to get together, to present their work and to discuss econometrics. Since its inception, key features of ANZESG meetings have been collegial interaction with scheduled discussants for presented papers, time for floor discussion, combinations of theory and empirics, and awards to recognize young scholars.Â
