Vanderhoof Wish List

• Care Closet | We have seen a growing need in our school for a care closet, and we need your help!   A care closet is a room at Vanderhoof filled with new and gently used clothing and hygiene items for students who need them.  The Care Closet currently needs new socks and underwear in all sizes.

• Indoor Recess Activity Boxes | The Vanderhoof Student Government received a grant to create Indoor Recess Activity Boxes. The boxes have some great activities to keep kids entertained when it is just too cold to go outside. The Student Government would love additional games (new or gently used) and indoor activities to keep the boxes full and engaging. If you can donate items, please drop them off at the front office. 

• SSN Coffee Cart | Our SSN students run the Vanderhoof Roast Coffee Cart monthly, which provides beverages to our teachers and staff. The coffee cart is an opportunity to practice sequencing, social interactions, and peer-to-peer teamwork in real-life situations. The SSN team needs donations of coffee cups and lids, stir sticks, napkins, ground coffee, cold brew coffee and creamers. Please email if you are interested in donating to an upcoming Vanderhoof Roast Coffee Cart. 

• Healthy Snacks | Focusing and learning can be challenging with a hungry belly. Please consider dropping off allergy-friendly snacks that will be available for students who need a snack to power through the day.
