What is the PTA?

The Vanderhoof PTA is a group of parents, teachers and administrators who share the common goal of wanting all our students to have the best educational experience possible. We meet monthly to discuss what is happening in and around our school. We also plan several events throughout the year to ensure our students are engaged, supported and enjoy being at school. The PTA is often the communication channel between families and the administration, so we encourage everyone to attend a meeting and lend their voice to raising up our students. 

Another responsibility of the Vanderhoof PTA is fundraising. We raise funds for extra resources for the school including, student enrichment activities, school improvements grants, and teacher grants and teacher appreciation. We cannot do what we do without the amazing Vanderhoof families and community.
